What all can [name]Cassie[/name] be short for? I just cannot get [name]Cassie[/name] out of my head right now, I am just so in love with it. I have [name]Cassandra[/name] so far and I am trying to make it work but I am not sure that I love it as much as I love [name]Cassie[/name]. Is [name]Cassie[/name] on its own too nicknamey? Does it need a full name to go with it?
I think [name]Cassie[/name] is a bit nicknamey, and probably should have a full name to fall back upon. What about [name]Cassia[/name], [name]Carissa[/name], [name]Cassidy[/name]?
[name]Cassiopeia[/name] (my favorite)
Castalina
Cascata/Cascada
Castile
I’ve met [name]Cassie[/name]'s who were just [name]Cassie[/name], but I don’t like it as a full name. I love [name]Cassandra[/name].
Here’s some others [name]Cassie[/name] could work for:
[name]Casiah[/name]
Casiana
Casilda
Casimira
[name]Cassa[/name]
[name]Cassia[/name]
[name]Cassidy[/name]
Cassielle
Casta
Castalia
Castora
Drocas
[name]Jocasta[/name]
[name]Lucasta[/name]
[name]Nicasia[/name]
[name]Pascasia[/name]
And maybe:
[name]Acacia[/name]
Jocacia
I’m a [name]Cassie[/name] - my full name is [name]Cassandra[/name]. I like it as a nickname for [name]Cassia[/name], [name]Jocasta[/name], [name]Lucasta[/name] and Castalia.
My name is simply [name]Cassie[/name] on my birth certificate. I personally don’t like the name [name]Cassandra[/name] and will ignore anyone who tries to call me that name… lol! I love my name and wouldn’t change it… When I first discovered my name was a nickname for [name]Cassandra[/name] when I was young, for a short period I wanted it to be [name]Cassandra[/name], but that didn’t last long and through my teenage years I went through a faze where I wanted to be called [name]Cassidy[/name] and then I wanted my spelling to be changed to [name]Kassie[/name], but otherwise I’ve always loved my name and love my nn [name]Cass[/name]. No-one was ever able to come up with a way to tease me for this name either… so I might be bias, but I do love it
I know 2 other [name]Cassie[/name]'s, the first one is also just [name]Cassie[/name] on her birth certificate and the second one is [name]Cassandra[/name] on her birth certificate, but she hates it.
If you like the name then go for it… I’m living proof that it’s strong enough on it’s own without being a nickname of something else… my nickname for [name]Cassie[/name] is [name]Cass[/name]. Now if you were thinking of going with [name]Cass[/name], I would recommend a full name such as [name]Cassie[/name] or [name]Cassidy[/name]
I may be late to the game, but my best friend was named [name]Cassie[/name], and her full name was [name]Catherine[/name]. So that’s an option.
I’m a [name]Catherine[/name], with a maternal grandmother named [name]Cassie[/name] (not short for anything else, just [name]Cassie[/name]). My mother thought it was a close-enough way to honor a [name]Cassie[/name], since she didn’t particularly love [name]Cassandra[/name] as an option.
I think it could work for [name]Lucrezia[/name] (my current name crush).
