I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

I have a cousin named [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] however I do prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] I feel that this spelling is very elegant with this sweet regality attached to her. Sheā€™s just gorgeous. Both are wonderful.

Also biased and completely agree :joy:

Another strong preference for [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] here! I think partially I prefer the K because so many of the nameā€™s nicknames are more commonly spelled with K. [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Katie[/name_f], [name_u]Kitty[/name_u], [name_u]Kay[/name_u], etc.

I actually prefer [name_f]Katharine[/name_f]

Iā€™m a bit conflicted because in theory I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] (I donā€™t really like K names in general) BUT I prefer [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Katie[/name_f] so I voted for [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] as a whole.

i think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] looks cleaner

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] looks more feminine and fresh to me. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] seems a little tomboyish and pretty old fashioned, in my opinion.

Haha I say [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] for a first name [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] for a middle name. Is that weird? Thats just how I think of it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] for me. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is a ā€œlittle black dressā€ name IMO - super versatile across ages and personality types. To me the K gives it a lot more energy - I find [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] looks really sedate, bordering on dull.

Strongly prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]! It seems classier. I think [name_f]Cate[/name_f] is fresher as a nickname too.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] feels a little fresher to me. ā€˜Kā€™ names were just a little over done and feel a little dated

I prefer the softer [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] :heartpulse:

[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] was my grandmotherā€™s name so naturally thatā€™s my choice!

[name_f]Katherine[/name_f], though I also like [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] as well since I have an aunt named [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f]. I always go back and forth between [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] as my overall favorite. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is classic, elegant, strong-willed. [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] is fun-loving and has a bit more spice/energy.

Iā€™m a [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] so definitely biased but I like the C when itā€™s spelt this way and a K when itā€™s spelt [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f].

I really like both! I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], but would probably use [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] though, because I prefer the spelling of [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Katie[/name_f] as the nickname over [name_f]Cate[/name_f] or Caty - so my vote went to [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].

By I have also really been liking [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] lately!!

catherine feels more timeless than katherine, which feels very middle-aged imo. i also prefer the typical nicknames starting with a c ā€“ as a whole, they seem fresher than their k-starting counterparts (cathy vs kathy, cate/caty/catie vs kate/katy/katie, cat vs kat, etc)

Iā€™m biased (like some of the above posters) but K all the way! Any ā€œkā€ version is a win over the ā€œcā€ version for me.
