What do people think of this name? It’s not for me. I recently heard someone use it.
Nameberry doesn’t even register it as a name, so that says it all. I also googled it and only found a furniture store named in FN/SN format, so I’m guessing Cavelle is a surname and they used it on a girl because of the feminine -elle ending.
I think it kind of capitalizes on the popular -elle ending names for girls. It sounds pretty, but I couldn’t find it on any name site, so…it doesn’t really have a meaning. I actually don’t mind it all that much, but I would never use it for myself.
Cave+elle? Not a fan, sorry. I agree with @birchwood29, it doesn’t really have a meaning.
It’s pretty, but it reminds me of the negative word Caveat.
They are part [name_m]French[/name_m] Canadian, so I found it to be an odd choice. It reminds me of cheval, [name_m]French[/name_m] for horse! Big sisters are [name_f]Caelee[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], so she clearly likes trendy names.
Hmm. Being a huge fan of [name_f]Elle[/name_f] names and choosing one for my own daughter, I feel like they had such a treasure trove to choose from! I agree with the others, it lacks standing and meaning. I hope they don’t call her Cavie. Or Cav which makes me think of slang term Cad.
But it’s definitely unique and they must’ve loved it!
