Thoughts on Cayetana?
I fell in love with it. Any pros, cons, associations?
It’s Spanish, kah-yeh-TAH-na. Meaning unknown, unfortunately.

[name_f]Cayetana[/name_f] has a pretty and interesting sound. Quite pleasing to say
I wouldn’t say “meaning unknown” - it comes from [name_m]Gaetano[/name_m], which simply means “from Gaieta” - or, originally, Caieta, a place name derived either from the name of Aeneas’ wet-nurse or, alternatively, a place where executions were carried out. Anyway. I don’t like it.
I like the nicknames quite a bit, but -tana names generally feel dated to me, so I’m not really a fan!
I like it! Reminds me of [name_m]Caetano[/name_m].
If you love a name use it !
That being said I think [name_f]Cayetana[/name_f] may be a hard name for the general population to spell and pronounce. While I think it’s pretty I think it would be a hard name to wear because you would be having to repeat yourself or spell it out. For this reason it’s not a name I would use , but could appreciate if others used it
It’s interesting. Not really sure what to make of it. Visually it makes me think of cayenne pepper and [name_f]Catalina[/name_f] dressing.
I like it! Looks really cool, and the pronunciation feels intuitive to me. Spelling it to other people sounds inevitable, but I think that’s fine. It’s a cool one!
Reminds me of the word Cayate . Other than that I think it’s a nice name
I like [name_f]Cayetana[/name_f]. It’s an eye-catching name. It has a lively sound and nice nickname options. I would expect a woman with this name to be Spanish/Latin.
[name_f]My[/name_f] main association with it is [name_f]Cayetana[/name_f] “Tana” [name_m]Ramsay[/name_m] who is the wife of celebrity chef [name_m]Gordon[/name_m] [name_m]Ramsay[/name_m].
