Cedar Belle

I was looking at a photographer’s blog and came across the cutest little girl named [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. (Cedar Belle: One Year! – Centreville VA Family Photographer | Wedding Photography | Wedding Photographer | Northern VA & Leesburg). [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] was not a name I ever considered but all of a sudden I love it! It will probably only go on my guilty pleasure list but I think [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is just darling!

What do you think of [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]? Have you ever heard a name used and then fall in love with it even if you never considered it before?

I wouldn’t use [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] together, but they are nice names apart. I know a doctor named [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], and she’s the only one with that name I’ve met so far. It’s an unusual nature name, but seems very wearable after knowing someone who has it. If it were me I’d probably pair it with a middle name that wasn’t a word or nature name, just to keep things balanced.

I actually really like the combo, although if I were going to use [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], it would likely be for a boy.

[name_u]Cedar[/name_u] feels uber masculine to me.

[name_u]Cedar[/name_u], I agree, is a boy name. It just sounds pretty because it is paired with [name_f]Belle[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Belle[/name_f], but [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] only reminds me of hospitals or apple cider.

[name_u]Cedar[/name_u] is most definitely a unisex name. It’s a beautiful SEE name, which tend to favor the feminine side. It’s a beautiful name, with or without the obnoxious middle name.

Sounds like a construction Company.

I agree, [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] feels very masculine. I am unsure if I would use it, if I did, it would be for a middle name only. I adore both [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and [name_m]Birch[/name_m] for boys. Both are special to us and have meaning. I would use [name_m]Birch[/name_m] only as a middle name but would use [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] as a first or middle name.

I love this combo! So adorable!

A little cutie like that definitely helps to sway my opinion on a name. While I probably wouldn’t add it to my own list, I think it is quite adorable.

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] combo! Both [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f] are favorites. [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] is definitely unisex and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] adds a tiny touch of femininity but still feels androgynous ([name_u]Cedar[/name_u] [name_u]Bell[/name_u] could be a boy).
