Not a spelling mistake! What is the opinion on the spelling of [name_f]Celest[/name_f] without the e?? There aren’t any comments on the names page, but does it look incomplete or incorrect spelled that way? The full name I’m leaning towards is [name_f]Celest[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], with the nicknames CJ or [name_f]Cece[/name_f] (last name starts with a C). Thoughts/comments/concerns??
It looks both incomplete and incorrect to me. If I saw the name written I would assume it was a typo, or would otherwise assume the parents didn’t know the “correct” spelling when they chose it.
I don’t mean to be rude, but I just don’t think it’s a necessary change to make. [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is pretty, though. There are also some lovely variations: [name_f]Celestia[/name_f], [name_f]Celestine[/name_f], and [name_f]Celestina[/name_f].
I am not a fan of [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] sans the -e. It does look incomplete to me, not nearly as well rounded. [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is nice.
I agree that that [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is the standard spelling and that would be my preference. I think it would also be less hassle in the long run.
But isn’t it pronounced the same anyway? If so I think you should go with [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], it is way nicer and [name_f]Celest[/name_f] looks incomplete in my opinion
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is super pretty! Great name
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name, but this spelling is one step closer to “molest”. I’d stick with [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] — beautiful!
