Celestia. Hoku. Winter. Saoirse. Eliora. Fable. Nala. Luna

What do you think of the names [name]Celestia[/name], [name]Hoku[/name], [name]Winter[/name], [name]Saoirse[/name], [name]Eliora[/name], [name]Fable[/name], [name]Nala[/name], & [name]Luna[/name]?

*My feelings on the names:

I really love how [name]Celestia[/name] sounds, and I also love the meaning.

[name]Hoku[/name] (“HO koo”) is a Hawaiian name that means “star”. I love the night time! I don’t think it’s too weird, but do you think it would be weird for someone not Hawaiian to use it?

What do you think of [name]Winter[/name] as a first name? I really love word names (especially if they’re nature related).

I really like [name]Saoirse[/name] (“seer sha”). The pronunciation issues wouldn’t bother me, but what do you think?

I really love how [name]Eliora[/name] sounds and feels. I also love it’s meaning.

[name]Fable[/name] is so pretty to me. I know it’s kind of “out there”, but what do you think of it as a first name?

[name]Ever[/name] since ‘The [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name]’ I’ve always thought that the name [name]Nala[/name] was beautiful. What do you think of it?

I love almost everything about [name]Luna[/name]! The only problem I have with it is it’s popularity.

If you couldn’t tell I really love “magical” nature, celestial, word names. Etc…

I like [name]Celestia[/name], [name]Winter[/name], [name]Eliora[/name] and [name]Luna[/name]. My suggestion would be [name]Celestia[/name] [name]Winter[/name].

My favorites would be [name]Celestia[/name] ,[name]Winter[/name], Saoirce,[name]Eliora[/name] and [name]Fable[/name].

I don’t like the rest because
[name]Hoku[/name] :I think it would be definitely weird to use this name if you are not Hawaiian or at least have some association
[name]Nala[/name]:I don’t really like it. Sounds unpleasant in my ears
[name]Luna[/name] :I suppose its ok just not my favorite

I like [name]Celestia[/name](prefer [name]Celeste[/name]), [name]Winter[/name], [name]Saoirse[/name] and [name]Luna[/name]. The rest are not really my style but they are not bad.

I like [name]Winter[/name], [name]Saoirse[/name], [name]Eliora[/name], [name]Fable[/name], and [name]Luna[/name].

[name]Celestia[/name] isn’t particularly pretty to me. It just gives me an odd feeling for some reason… Almost unsettling.
[name]Hoku[/name] would definitely be weird for someone without Hawaiian heritage, plus I wouldn’t give my daughter a name where the predominant syllable is “Ho”
[name]Nala[/name] is just way too tied to [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name] for my taste

I really like [name]Celestia[/name], [name]Fable[/name] and [name]Winter[/name]. [name]Celestia[/name] would be my favourite! [name]How[/name] about combining them to make [name]Celestia[/name] [name]Winter[/name] [name]Fable[/name]…that would be a stunning name.

My favourite would be [name]Saoirse[/name], but I also quite like [name]Celestia[/name] and [name]Eliora[/name].

[name]Celestia[/name] - I dont really like this one, it conjures up images of a witch or sorceress from a cheesy fiction novel. I prefer [name]Celeste[/name].
[name]Hoku[/name] - Not my favorite, I just dont think the sound is pretty. also could be a source for teasing with the “ho” sound at the beginning.
[name]Winter[/name] - This is nice, I like nature names and I think it is a very pretty word!
[name]Saoirse[/name] - I love love love this name. I just couldn’t use is because of pn issues. But if it doesnt bother you, go for it!
[name]Eliora[/name] - cute, but not my favorite
[name]Fable[/name] - its alright
[name]Nala[/name] - this reminds me too much of The [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name]
[name]Luna[/name] - alright, but seems like a name for a pet

I love [name]Luna[/name] and [name]Eliora[/name]. I like [name]Celestia[/name]. I think the rest work best as middle names.

Thx everyone.

I love [name]Fable[/name] and [name]Winter[/name] I think they are so spunky and just stunning on a little girl!
[name]Celestia[/name]: I don’t love the ending of this for some reason I think there are other celestial names that I like more
[name]Hoku[/name]: sounds more like a boys name to me but thats probably because of the character Haku in Spirited Away
[name]Saoirse[/name]: I really like this name I think it is beautiful
[name]Eliora[/name]: I think this name is very fun to say it just flows wonderfully
[name]Nala[/name]: I think this is too tied up with the [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name] and that is the connotation that will follow the name around constantly
[name]Luna[/name]: I like [name]Luna[/name] a lot but I feel like you do that it is becoming a bit too popular what about [name]Selene[/name]?

I don’t like [name]Selene[/name] but I do love [name]Selena[/name]! I couldn’t use it for various reasons though. Thanks for your opinion!

I love [name]Luna[/name] & [name]Saoirse[/name], like [name]Eliora[/name], [name]Winter[/name] & [name]Fable[/name] are nice middles. [name]Hoku[/name] sounds like hocus (pocus) and [name]Nala[/name] makes me think of that little lion.

Now to [name]Celestia[/name]. I love [name]Celeste[/name], love it, and in theory [name]Celestia[/name] is pretty. But there is a disturbingly ugly and annoying big freaky looking long legged psycho eyed modern My [name]Little[/name] Pony named [name]Princess[/name] [name]Celestia[/name]. She can talk! “[name]Hi[/name], my name is [name]Princess[/name] [name]Celestia[/name]. Would you like to comb my hair? You’re my best friend…” it says, sounding like it’s high on LCD or something. It’s my number one hate toy, my goddaughter has one and she brings it every time she comes around… Anyway, just wanted to let you know!

[name]Nahla[/name] [name]Winter[/name] [name]Hoku[/name]

My favorites are [name]Saoirse[/name] and [name]Eliora[/name]. I love names that are beautiful to look at in print as well as to say. [name]Nala[/name] is pretty but does make me think [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name]. I think [name]Winter[/name] makes a great mn.
[name]Celestia[/name] [name]Winter[/name], [name]Eliora[/name] [name]Winter[/name], and [name]Saoirse[/name] [name]Luna[/name] are my favorite combos.

[name]Celestia[/name] - It’s not entirely my style, but like you said, very mystical. I like it, it’s very pretty in my opinion, but I think I would only use it (if at all) in a middle spot.
[name]Hoku[/name] - It’s pretty, and the meaning is obviously a personal connection. However, I do think it’s a bit too Hawaiian-y to use without Hawaiian heritage. Sorry!
[name]Winter[/name] - [name]Love[/name] love love, but doubt I’d be brave enough to use myself! Maybe in the middle, but if you love the style, go for it wherever!
[name]Saoirse[/name] - Like it, but the pronunciation WOULD bother me. If it doesn’t bother you, go for it, it’s a beautiful name.
[name]Eliora[/name] - Very whimsical in my opinion, very girly, but I’m not keen.
[name]Fable[/name] - Same as [name]Winter[/name].
[name]Nala[/name] - In my opinion, too tied to the [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name]. Many people will have only heard it there, and it just depends whether you can look past that for whenever you’d use it.
[name]Luna[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! [name]One[/name] of my favourite names, actually.

Your comment made me laugh!

Thank you everyone for your input!

[name]Celestia[/name] - It’s a little witchy / mythological.
[name]Hoku[/name] - I like it, but it does sound exotic. I think you could use it if you had some knowledge of the culture it comes from.
[name]Winter[/name] - It is just okay. I never liked the month names, so seasons aren’t my favorite either.
[name]Saoirse[/name] - The pronunciation would be difficult for people.
[name]Eliora[/name] - I like this one. It’s pretty.
[name]Fable[/name] - My favorite, though it would work best on the child of literature lover. Fables are animal based folktales.
[name]Nala[/name] - Very disney.
[name]Luna[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name].
