Cerise

Would it be really weird to name a girl [name_f]Cerise[/name_f]?
I just don’t really know how I feel about the fact that it means “cherry”, but I love the sound and somehow I keep coming back to it as a name I really really like. And I’d only use it in the middle, so I don’t think she’d get teased with it or something… but still. Would it be super weird?

As a first name, I’m not a fan, but when it comes to middles, I say go for it.

I don’t believe that fruits make appropriate baby names, personally, mais à chacun son goût ! Also, I imagine that finding your name on a bag of produce at the grocery store would be less than thrilling.

WoW!! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!!! Gorgeous name, lovely meaning, classic look and wonderful feminine sound. 10/10 from me. Great as a middle or first name.

[name_f]Cerise[/name_f] is okay. In [name_u]America[/name_u] at least, most people won’t know it means cherry, and they most likely will associate with the color.

Plus who cares if it is also a fruit/color or flower/color - I have seen people here love such names before like [name_f]Plum[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]

I would also say as a middle name it works. It reminds me of [name_f]Cerise[/name_f] Hood which is a doll from the [name_u]Ever[/name_u] After High doll line.
