Chamomile

The [name]Camille[/name] / [name]Camilla[/name] post got me thinking about Chamomile as a name. Cute or not cute? Interesting botanical name or way too weird? Not really consideri g the name- just curious what you would think if you met a girl named Chamomile?

Sorry, I would think it was pretty darn weird. I would think the parents must be obsessed with the tea. Then again, once you associate a name with a sweet child, that changes things.

I prefer [name]Camille[/name]!

No… I don’t like it. I think [name]Camilla[/name] is the prettiest out of those you mentioned. [name]Camille[/name] sounds so frumpy and stuck-up to me.

I think it could be cute as a middle name.

I think it’s a strange choice, I would wonder if the parents if a chamomile knew about the tea since you can buy it at most grocery stores

No way. Maybe as a nickname, but never as a given name! [name]Camille[/name] and [name]Camilla[/name] are both cute though.

I think [name]Camellia[/name] would pass far better as a compromise between “proper name” [name]Camille[/name] (which is a bit buttoned up and prim for me) and Chamomile, which is a bit hippie and odd for me.

Still a botanical but a bit less tea, you know?

[name]Camellia[/name] also hasn’t got a silent h waiting to trip people up.

All I think of is tea, lol. I don’t think it’s that usable, but it’s not unthinkable.

If I met a girl named Chamomile, honestly, I’d feel bad for her. I wouldn’t want to be named Chamomile.
