My hubby and I are expecting our second child. It’s very early days and we’ve had a girl’s name picked out since before we started trying. All of a sudden I’ve found another name i love too and can’t decide.
The original name was [name_f]Thea[/name_f] with the family name [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as a middle name. The new name is Adalind and i thought about pairing it with my late grandmother’s name [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].
What about [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]? I don’t care for Adalind with the d and I think your little girl will be forever correcting people on a daily basis, both on how to spell and on how to pronounce her name. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is pretty and I prefer it to [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
Oh, I think [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is divine!
Adalind [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is too ‘d’ heavy to me. I too prefer [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] to Adalind, and I think [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Thea[/name_f] would be lovely.
It’s not an ideal combo. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] would be my choice. If you keep [name_f]Adalin[/name_f], then maybe [name_f]Adalin[/name_f] [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
I seem to be the only one who likes [name_f]Adelind[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Adelind[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelind[/name_f] [name_f]Thea[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I don’t think that Adalind [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] flows as well. Maybe you could put Adalind in the middle spot. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] Adalind [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]. I also like [name_f]Thia[/name_f] (small pronunciation) and [name_f]Athena[/name_f] or [name_f]Althea[/name_f] both with nn [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. Good luck!
This may be too common for you, but I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] is stunning.
I agree with previous posters that the D in Adalind isn’t positive for me. [name_f]Adalin[/name_f], [name_f]Adaline[/name_f] and [name_f]Adalyn[/name_f] are better choices in my eyes.
The fact that [name_f]Adelind[/name_f] would throw people off with spelling shouldn’t matter. I’ve had to state and spell my name many times all my life and will continue to so. I have no complaints, it’s not a huge burden to me.
Anyway, I think [name_f]Adelind[/name_f] is lovely, but I am concerned with your last name [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]…a little rhymey don’t you think?
I like either [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], but not Adalind. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is beautiful as well though! [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is a bit A-D heavy, and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is also quite D heavy. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] or [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] also work!
