So I’m starting a new story and I have 3 major characters that need named. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
I have my main character (Last name Jack). She’s 19, in her second year of college. She grew up in a really small town with her dad and older brothers after her mother died when she was 8 months old and her brothers were 3 1/2 and 5. She’s very reserved and doesn’t speak to anyone that is not her father, brothers, or best friend since childhood. She is also very smart and is almost always reading something. She is majoring in Physics.
Then I have her best friend (Last name Rutherford). She’s also 19 and attends the same college as my MC. She grew up in the same town, with her parents and her younger brother and sister (ages 17 and 13 respectively). She also has a half-brother and a half-sister that are 13 and 10 years older than her (respectively). She is a lot more social than my MC, but they are equally smart. She is majoring in English.
And lastly I have the lead male role (Last name Pennington). Haven’t decided if he’ll end up a love interest or just a friend but he will become a big part of my MC’s life. He is 18 and also attends the same college and actually meets MC in a physics lab class as he too is a physics major of the same year. He comes from a large city, and a very wealthy family with just him and his twin brother.

and maybe [name_u]Lane[/name_u] or [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for her friend
And [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] or [name_u]Dean[/name_u] for the guy

@kaylac95 I kinda like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for her friend. It’s different and kinda has just the right spunk to it. And that’s alright on the surnames, they aren’t nearly a hard to find as first names.

@makreilly I kinda like [name_u]Dean[/name_u] and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. And while I like the name [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], I don’t think it’s the right fit for the character.
@athenamay24 [name_f]Kenna[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] are nice, and I actually kinda like [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]. [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] has officially been added to my list for him too. If not for him he has a twin I’ll have to name too.

As for the best friend… Top of my head… [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. I love that name.
I’m not a fan of the name [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] but I do like the nickname [name_u]Jem[/name_u] that comes with it. [name_m]Just[/name_m] putting it out there.
If I had to name him I’d say to pick something unusual or excentric because he comes from a wealthy family? Or a name like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] or [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]! He can go by [name_u]Beck[/name_u].
