I’ve also added on some more characters that I need help naming!

2: ‘NAMING X, Y, Z’ Form

Genre of [name_u]Story[/name_u]: [name_f]Fantasy[/name_f]

Time Period/Location: Before electronic stuff were invented, so I guess its about 1800’s - early 1900’s? Located in old cities (not the urbanized ones), forests, lots of nature and stuff.

Brief Plot: In a world with supernaturals, unknown from humans.

Character 1:

Character Description: The antagonist of the story. Dark brown hair and green eyes. He’s in his 40s maybe. He’s pretty much evil. He is the [name_m]King[/name_m] of a particular region. Not exactly power-hungry but he enjoys his position and status. He demands for respect and expects everyone to obey him. He is currently after his eldest daughter, who has a rare supernatural ability, hoping to recruit her so as to increase his army’s strength. He performs experiments on his own people for various reasons, including his youngest daughter. Very strong and powerful supernatural.

Immediate Family:

Already Considered:
[name_m]Lucius[/name_m] - meaning light (I typed in this name on google and apparently there’s a horror video game with this name and it kinda creeps me out but I’m not sure whether to include this or not.)

Character 2:

Character Description: Pretty, typical popular 17-year-old girl with light blond hair and hazel eyes. She’s rather selfish and thinks highly of herself. She treats her friends very well but is unkind to others. However, in the story, she gradually has a change of personality and does a nobel act for someone she doesn’t like, and sacrifices herself.

Character 3:

Character Description: 15-year-old boy with brown hair and dark green eyes. He was experimented by (Character 1)before and has his brain wired so that he does whatever he is told. The reason was because he couldn’t bring himself to harm others.

[name_f]My[/name_f] characters aren’t of a specific ethnic background but rather a mix of people from around the world. I suppose they can either be British, Welsh, Irish, American. Or of Scandinavian/Nordic backgrounds.

The last names don’t exactly have to have a meaning but I just want them to sound nice with their first names.

Ok, without a country (or countries/cultures a made up place is similar to) I’ll find this hard. AJ_Bear did an excellent job as well so I can’t guarantee an extensive list but you asked for my input and I always try and help people who’ve attempted to use the forms :slight_smile: You also seem to be leaning towards certain meanings but as you haven’t specified I won’t look especially for those.

Are there any names you think, regardless of time period and location/background, that would fit these characters’ personalities? Modern or 1900s names would be fine too! In fact I prefer modern names :smiley:

Sorry bout the British part! I’m not from those parts hahaha I’m not very sure about these things which is why I couldn’t really specify a region/background for these characters. Pardon me!

Nope because names don’t have set personalities, people do. Their experiences and upbringings shape them, not their names. An [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] could be a bottle blonde fifty year old cafe worker from Birmingham or she could be a fourteen year old goth from [name_m]French[/name_m] Guyana etc etc.

But modern names wouldn’t work for your setting. If you prefer them, perhaps write a modern story?
