Due with our first girl in [name_f]June[/name_f] and we cannot decide on a name [name_f][/name_f]- middle names are family names.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] (go by [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or Lottie)
[name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] ( go by [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] or KJ)
[name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] (Millie or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] nickname options?)
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
Any input? We know [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is so popular but that’s a family name we’ve always loved. [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] we love but can’t decide!! Any help appreciated!
@Savannah0823[name_f][/name_f] Congratulations and welcome to Nameberry! I think all your choices are beautiful, but I really love [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. You can never go wrong with a classic name. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] has stuck around for a reason! And [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is so adorable, I love it! [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]. I do like [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but it doesn’t give me the same level of excitement that the other options do. That being said, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these names.
[name_f][/name_f]
Congratulations again, I hope this helps!

[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] 100% !!! I think it’s a perfect compromise – it has Kennedy’s preppy feel but it’s also beautifully timeless like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I love the nicknames, that it feels on-trend but isn’t actually that common, and it just has a really sweet sound. Plus, it has none of the drawbacks the other 2 do! It’s more unique than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (I get the appeal but I truly know of so many that I just don’t care for it anymore) and has better nicknames than [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] (KJ sounds like cagey to me, and Ken/Kennie are maybe a bit too masculine).
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] only tiny comment would be that I think [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] would be nicer than [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]!

I would personally do [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] if you’re worried about popularity.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] are lovely! [name_f][/name_f] I’ve loved them for years, too. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] feels very different from them to me, but it’s still a nice name! [name_f][/name_f] I am such a sucker for the nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] (which I suspect is much less used than Charlie!), so I’m leaning toward [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], but I love [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] as well! [name_f][/name_f] Good luck!

I love [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]! While [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is popular, it’s popular for a reason. Since it’s a family name, popularity wouldn’t bother me.

For me it’s between [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] + [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] feels classic, has a literacy vibe, is romantic and reliable with sweet nicknames [name_m]Charlie[/name_m] & [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]. [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] feels romantic, is unexpected, graceful and I love that she has associations with the suffrage movement through [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] Pankhurst. Paired with [name_f]Anne[/name_f] she feels sweet and upbeat. I also love the nickname [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is definitely [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] but both are lovely!

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is popular for sure [name_f][/name_f]- I have three friends who have Charlottes! BUT that doesn’t mean it’s unusable. I love the name and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is so sweet! Each [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is their own person and has their own personality, etc. Which makes your [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (if you have one) unique in their own right!
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is sooooo sweet and KJ is a cool, spunky nickname for that! [name_m]Kenny[/name_m] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is cute too
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] feels clunky to me and I’m not sure why.
[name_f][/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] and then [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]
Congrats!

Congratulations and [name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to Nameberry!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]- I think that hits a nice in-between spot with the lovely classic [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and the more unisex last name [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f]. I also think that [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] would make wonderful sisters for a possible future daughter but [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] would be more mismatched and overall different styles. And I love the nickname [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]I love the name [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] too though.

From your options, I absolutely love [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] (though I love the suggestion of using [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] to avoid popularity but still use a family name) – she has the soft feminine feel of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] & the strength of [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f]! Nickname options could be: [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], or [name_f]Leni[/name_f]

It’s a coin toss between [name_f]Kennedy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (LOVE the nn KJ) and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- so fresh and effortlessly cool.
