i think if you really love the name charlotte, you should go for it! it’s such a beautiful name, and soleil is as well. there’s also a bunch of easier nicknames for your family if that’s best for you.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you live in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] or elsewhere? As far as my knowledge of the Italian language goes, the pronunciation of [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is not necessarily immediately intuitive to people who do not speak [name_u]French[/name_u], so your family might struggle just the same with [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] as they do with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
It is difficult for us Berries to determine which name we think is better for you since we do not know much about you and your personality can only say what we prefer based on our own preferences, which for me is [name_f]Soleil[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you yourself feel like [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is the right fit for you, or do you think your original name suits you better? Have you tested [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] out, for example in Starbucks or on social media?
If you want something with a similar vibe to these names but easier for Italian speakers, have you considered [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f] or [name_f]Solana[/name_f]?

I know, but at the same time I recognise that has a difficult pronunciation for people that have a low / inexistent knowledge of English…

I don’t think Italian names suits me and I really don’t like any Italian name, tbh.
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is the easier name in terms of pronunciation, and I know it because there’s a TV star that has this name here in Italy… on the other hand, I always loved the name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but I recognise that it’s difficult for people that have a low knowledge of [name_f]English[/name_f].
I don’t know what to do, I’m confused because I want to do the right thing…
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] feels like a regal, [name_f]British[/name_f] classic.
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f] feels sunny, bright with [name_u]French[/name_u] flair.
I think it depends what vibe you like best
