Chessy?

I’ve had the name Chessy in my head lately. I like the combos Chessy [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and Chessy [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. I’m becoming more okay with it as a standalone name mostly because I can only think of it as a nn for [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Franny[/name_f] and Chessy but am not fully on board with [name_f]Francesca[/name_f].

[name_m]Can[/name_m] y’all think of any other names that lend themselves to Chessy as a nn? TIA!

Chessy is cute! I think I prefer the [name_f]Chessie[/name_f] spelling because it looks less like “cheesy.”

[name_f]Charis[/name_f], [name_f]Charity[/name_f], [name_f]Cherith[/name_f], [name_f]Cherish[/name_f], [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], [name_f]Rachelle[/name_f] ??? But I think I like [name_f]Chessie[/name_f] as a stand alone best.

[name_f]Chelsea[/name_f]
[name_f]Chesney[/name_f]
[name_m]Winchester[/name_m]

[name_f]Chelsea[/name_f], [name_f]Charity[/name_f], maybe [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (like a feminine version of [name_m]Chas[/name_m] for Charles?)

[name_m]Winchester[/name_m] is actually a family name I hadn’t even considered. Thank you!

It might not be your style but [name_m]Chance[/name_m] and [name_m]Chase[/name_m] could work.

Maybe [name_f]Concetta[/name_f].

Chessy is sweet!

Maybe…

[name_f]Cherish[/name_f]

[name_f]Charlise[/name_f] / [name_f]Charlize[/name_f]

[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] ?

[name_f]Cherith[/name_f] ? (Maybe [name_f]Cherith[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] / [name_f]Cherith[/name_f] [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] / [name_f]Cherith[/name_f] [name_f]Selene[/name_f] / [name_f]Cherith[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] etc?)

[name_f]Chelsea[/name_f] ??

[name_f]Cherise[/name_f]

Well, it would definitely work for [name_f]Duchess[/name_f]!

More stretchily…
[name_f]Marchesa[/name_f]
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Cherie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lachesis[/name_f]
[name_f]Carissa[/name_f] (or Charissa)
[name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Christina[/name_f]
[name_m]Christie[/name_m]
[name_f]Crescentia[/name_f]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m]

I’ve always liked just Cesca (the last part of [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] pronounced just the same as [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] minus the Fran) as a stand alone name… (I’ve never liked [name_f]Fran[/name_f] in any name really) I think Cesca is sleek stylish and classy and Chessy would be an adorable nickname for it.
