A while back I did a survey to see which names were your favourites from England & Wales Top 100 from 1900-2010. I recently went through my name banks from that series and below are my favourites from the combined decades
Which are your favourites/least favourites of mine?
Are there any that you would like to see make a comeback or alternately stay in the past ?

I especially love [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] for its strength and drama, and [name_f]Helen[/name_f], [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f] for their understated, solid, serene appeal.
[name_f]Charlene[/name_f], [name_f]Eileen[/name_f], [name_f]Muriel[/name_f] and [name_f]Pauline[/name_f] are the ones I am least ready for right now.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are: [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
I’m not so keen on [name_f]Charlene[/name_f], [name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Eileen[/name_f], [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Judith[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Muriel[/name_f], [name_f]Pauline[/name_f], and [name_f]Susan[/name_f]
I would love to see [name_f]Eileen[/name_f], [name_f]Judith[/name_f], [name_f]Nancy[/name_f], [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f], and [name_f]Muriel[/name_f] make a comeback!!
[name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] and [name_f]Susan[/name_f] are my least favourite but I do like [name_f]Susie[/name_f] as a nn and sometimes I see a combo with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] in it and feel like it works nicely. I’ve looked after the sweetest little girl called [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] so it has a great association for me…There aren’t many names that I simply dislike!
@hannahwren Thank you so much!! I actually have robin on my boy list of this thread! I think I prefer the robyn spelling for a girl and robin for a boy
@regionlatbest I’d also love to see some little eileen’s, judith’s, nancy’s, marilyn’s and muriel’s running around soon! nancy is quite popular in the UK I believe and my sister’s godmother is an eileen only she was definitely born in the 50s so it has to be due a comeback
