Choosing a favourite boys and girls name - your suggestions?

[name]Hi[/name] there
My hubby and I are TTC our first child, though my husband has a son from his first marriage called Mallalieu ([name]Mal[/name]-ah-loo) - i posted about finding names to match with his a little while ago…
Not pregnant yet, but I love names so can’t stop thinking about them! We’re trying to come up with our favourite couple of boys and girls names for when we are lucky enough to be blessed with a child, hopefully later this year all things going well!
While i’m not looking for really unusual names like Mallalieu, I don’t want him to feel left out so I wouldn’t be going for anything like [name]Benjamin[/name] or [name]Emily[/name] for instance.
Our last name starts with B and ends with -on and is two syllables - this omits many -on ending two syllable names.
Here are some of my favourites at the moment (subject to change depending on my mood!) - any other suggestions most welcome. Oh and we’re in Australia, which seems to make a slight difference when it comes to names compared with the US.

[name]Gabriel[/name] (nn [name]Gabe[/name])
[name]Wesley[/name] (nn [name]Wes[/name], this is to honour both of our mothers)

[name]Rosalie[/name]/[name]Rosanna[/name] (nn [name]Rosie[/name])
[name]Michaela[/name] (to honour my hubby and his father)

[name]Hi[/name]! I can picture exotic sounding names with Mallalieu, such as:

From your list, I love [name]Rosalie[/name] and [name]Anneliese[/name]!

Names that remind me of [name]Rosalie[/name] and [name]Anneliese[/name]:

From your boys’ list, my favorites are [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Wesley[/name], and [name]Xavier[/name]…

More names you may like that remind me of [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name]:

[name]Sebastian[/name] (Oops…I forgot about your last name ending in N)

Best wishes to you!

Here are a few more girls names I like to give you an idea of my style

[name]Margot[/name] (nn [name]Maggie[/name])
[name]Cecily[/name] (love this, though struggle with it sounding like ‘silly’)
[name]Saffron[/name] (can’t use with our surname)
[name]Caroline[/name] (can’t use, already in use!)

[name]Hi[/name]! I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]/[name]Eloisa[/name], [name]Margot[/name], [name]Cecily[/name] (I never thought of the “silly” thing!) :-), and [name]Caroline[/name]! (I think that [name]Saffron[/name] is really pretty, too…)

Some more you may like:

[name]Clementine[/name] (n ending sound, though)

I really love your favorite names!

Oh! You may also like [name]Elodie[/name]…
