Whadya think? Nicknames [name]Christa[/name] and [name]Christy[/name] and [name]Chrissy[/name]. Does it sound too frilly or made-up?
I prefer [name]Christa[/name] as a name all by itself. [name]Christabel[/name] does kind of sound made up to me.
I like it, but I don’t like the obvious nicknames. I’d call her [name]Kit[/name], personally.
Reminds me of the poem by [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Taylor[/name] [name]Coleridge[/name], making it a exceptionally attractive, literary name. It’s both beautiful to look at and say aloud.
I’m not a fan. It sounds a bit too smushed-together-[name]Christine[/name]-and-[name]Isabel[/name] for my taste. Sorry.
I kind of like it. Definitely lots of cool nickname options.
I prefer the spelling [name]Christabelle[/name].
I love [name]Christabel[/name] For the same reason another poster mention, the [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Taylor[/name] [name]Coleridge[/name] association is gorgeous. Plus I love the sound of it. My Dad has always jokingly called me [name]Christabel[/name] because like his cousin with the name I have dark eyes and curly hair.
It was on my list, but I chose to delete it because it’s so [name]Christian[/name], and I am atheist.
I still like it, just would not use it.
I really like it! I see it as a quirky vintage gem. I’m not such a fan of [name]Christa[/name]/[name]Chrissy[/name] as a nn - these feel a bit dated to me! I like the suggestion of [name]Kit[/name]!
it sounds like a prostitutes name… sorry
I like it because of the association with [name]Christabel[/name] Pankhurst (kind of implying to me that anyone who thinks the name is made up needs to go read some feminist history)!
