Is [name_m]Christian[/name_m] too common?
Yes, it’s high on the charts and has been for a while.
I think it depends on where you live. I would suggest checking the name charts for your area and then you can decide if you are comfortable with the popularity.
It is for me personally.
It depends on who you ask, really. For me, it’s too common. It’s the 55th most popular name for boys right now, so it wouldn’t be weird if he grew up knowing other Christians. I’m not saying he’ll necessarily have one in his class but I wouldn’t be surprised if he had one or two in his school
I agree that it depends on where you live and what too common is. Doesn’t the popularity just mean that it’s a great name? I certainly have a soft spot for it, but if you want your child to be the only or one of the only kids around with that name, you might want to look a little lower on the name popularity list. I would personally go for it, but my area also doesn’t have many young Christians running around. Is there a way to check the name list in your state/area?
Yea it’s 39th in my state in 2018. [name_f]East[/name_f] coast
I dont think it’s too popular. I’ve never thought of it as a popular name.
It seems to be ranked high but I personally don’t think it’s super common in my area. Regardless, I see it more as a traditional name rather than trendy, and to me, that makes a difference.
