Which name do you prefer as a first or middle name? [name_f]Clara[/name_f] works better to me as first name, while [name_f]Claire[/name_f] flows well with so many first names, I would place [name_f]Claire[/name_f] as a middle name.
i prefer clara as a first name! claire flows better with so many firsts, so i’d say it’s better as a middle.
Really depends on your last name. I knew [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and prefer it out of the two as a first. It also makes me think of Outlander character and she was cool. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] pronounced Cl-ah-rah in [name_f]Easter[/name_f] Europe which kind of ruins this spelling for me
How are you pronouncing [name_f]Clara[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] (KLAARA pronunciation) she’s gorgeous, incredibly feminine, timeless, has pretty wintry imagery and I love The Nutcracker association. [name_f]My[/name_f] mum is of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage so I love the pronunciation [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as it pays homage to my heritage but also in my opinion this pronunciation is beautiful. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a favourite of mine. I’m lucky that in the UK this pronunciation is more common as I love it.
However if you’re using clair-uh my favourite is [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
clara is my favourite! I don’t hate the clair-uh pronunciation but prefer to say klah-rah (rhymes with zara). If you are using the clair-uh pronunciation I would choose claire.
I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as a first - and, to be honest, I prefer it as a middle too - but [name_f]Claire[/name_f] does flow well with a lot of names
I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] as a first name! I think [name_f]Claire[/name_f] so pretty as a middle with so many different names!
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] overall.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f], it’s so lovely both as clairuh and claaruh!! I love the sound and the look. It also matches with so many different names, like it balances out other names so nicely.m
I used to prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] but I’ve been leaning more towards [name_f]Clara[/name_f] recently for both spots.
I really like [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] it’s growing on me . [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is great and simple but I prefer as a middle name but could be simple fresh first name .
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]! It’s lovely, feminine, and has a bright and beautiful sound. I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] too, but it feels duller for me, at least with the [name_f]British[/name_f] pronunciation which I use.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] for both.
The simplicity of [name_f]Claire[/name_f] wins me over versus [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. Plus I find clah-ruh a very awkward pronunciation.
