[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I am currently researching classic girls’ names that are timeless and have been used throughout history. Are there any “b” names for girls that fit the criteria that you can think of?

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], naturally.

Benilda
Great suggestions above. I can only think of a few others:
[name_f]Betty[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] – originally nicknames but they’ve been stand-alones, too, for decades if not centuries.
Some of these are dated but these have been around along time:
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]
[name_f]Berengaria[/name_f]
[name_f]Brenda[/name_f]
[name_f]Bettina[/name_f]
[name_f]Belinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] maybe?
I think [name_f]Blanche[/name_f] / [name_f]Blancha[/name_f] is a lovely one.
Some others that come to mind are [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Bessie[/name_f], and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_u]Bailey[/name_u]
[name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Bexley[/name_u]
[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f]Bindi[/name_f]
Bensyn
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]!
I really like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]!
I don’t think [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] has been mentioned yet!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are:
[name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Beata[/name_f]
[name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_f]Brigitte[/name_f] / [name_f]Brigitta[/name_f]
I thought of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] are what came to mind
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and [name_f]Barbara[/name_f] come to mind. I take classic as meaning they’ve been used pretty consistently for centuries. [name_f]Barbara[/name_f] is out just at the moment after a big spike in the 1930s and 40s, but otherwise has had continued use for a long time. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] was very popular mid to late nineteenth century, but has been consistently used before and after that period.
Beatrice!!
Barbara
Bethany
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]

Thank you for all these great suggestions.
