We are expecting our third child (a girl) this winter, and so far are leaning towards [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. Not as a nickname, as a full name. (I know some people don’t like it, but when my parents named me [name_f]Lilly[/name_f]- 38 years ago- they were told that was only a nickname too! And now every third preschooler is [name_f]Lily[/name_f], sooo )
Our other two children are Wy@tt [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] Al1ce. I’d like a strong, simple, short, classic MN that works for [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. So far, we like [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but there’s a minor family issue that makes it slightly less desirable, and I wonder if it’s too close to our son’s middle ([name_u]James[/name_u]).
I think [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is cute. [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is similar to [name_f]Jane[/name_f] but maybe enough difference to separate it from the family issue and differentiate it from [name_u]James[/name_u].
My [name_f]Lola[/name_f]'s middle name is [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] after her paternal great-grandma. Our other options were [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] and [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].
It’s so great to see another mum considering just-[name_f]Lola[/name_f]! I personally think it’s a great name that is easy for everyone to say, remember and spell and I get many, many compliments. My daughter loves being a [name_f]Lola[/name_f].
