[name]Hi[/name] Nameberry. We’re trying to name our daughter and we’re bringing in some names that we liked from our first pregnancy. We have a son named [name]William[/name] “[name]Will[/name]” so it will have to go with that:
[name]Cora[/name]- honors my mother
[name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]/[name]Juliet[/name]
We’re open to suggestions as well. We’re looking to add some classic names to our list. Thanks!!
What great names! I’m probably the only person on here who can’t stand [name]Charlotte[/name], however, but it’s just me, apparently. I adore [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name], but sadly the latter is too popular for me.
Personally, I wouldn’t do any names that you can get the nickname [name]Kate[/name] from. [name]Will[/name] and [name]Kate[/name] is just too much British royalty.
Sorry for any repeats!
[name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Esther[/name]
[name]Mary[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name] (I know a sibset of [name]William[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] that go by [name]Will[/name] and [name]Liz[/name]. I love it!)
[name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Helen[/name]
[name]Anna[/name]
[name]Florence[/name]
[name]Marie[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Mabel[/name]
[name]Frances[/name]
[name]Mavis[/name]
[name]Irene[/name]
[name]Eva[/name]
[name]Sarah[/name]
[name]Elsie[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Viola[/name]
[name]May[/name]
[name]Lena[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Marion[/name]
[name]Lucille[/name]
[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Ada[/name]
[name]Virginia[/name]
[name]Leona[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name]
[name]Nora[/name]
[name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Georgia[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Theresa[/name]
What gorgeous names! I think [name]Amelia[/name] is perfect with [name]William[/name]. I adore [name]Juliet[/name]! It doesn’t feel as “classic” as the others, but it is my fav of the bunch.
I like all of them, but [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] are my favourites. I think [name]William[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] would be fabulous together. [name]William[/name] is a top contender if we’re having a boy, so I’ll share some of our list with you.
With [name]William[/name], I really like [name]Charlotte[/name] from your list. I’d stay away from anything that gets the nickname [name]Kate[/name] and anything that reminds someone of the current royal family (that includes [name]Elizabeth[/name] as much as I love it with [name]William[/name]). Here are my suggestions, not all would be considered classics but I feel that they have a similar feel.
