i’m happy to meet a fellow lover of irish names!! aoife and orla are my favorites for a girl, currently
i’ve never heard of clíona, but it is gorgeous! it feels mystical and whimsical and strong. i think I’d use the clíona spelling just because it’s a little easier to pronounce that way.
love love love clíodhna! i’m a huge fan of irish names, particularly irish mythological names. i prefer the clíodhna spelling, but both are really lovely
Oh my, someone likes Éadaoin! I am so happy. It is currently one of my favourites. I know that it is the more modern form of Étaín but I slightly prefer the sound of Éadaoin is is so lovely!
I love all of the others you listed as well but my favourites are Éadaoin, [name_f]Sadhbh[/name_f], [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] and Áine.
I also like [name_f]Meadhbh[/name_f]. I like the spelling you listed too.
Very beautiful, though I do find pronunciation (from the written name) difficult given that I don’t speak/read Irish. I came across the [name_f]Cliona[/name_f] spelling a while back and thought it would be like [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] with a “C”! Oops!
