welcome to my ntb!! i’m sure you all know the drill by now. you name all the characters! this is round one, so parents! (this one will have lots of drama in it so be prepared ofc)

backstory: dw (28) is an astute businesswoman from chicago, who moved to paris for her work and met her belgian immigrant husband (dh, 31) there. the two had instant chemistry and fell in love very quickly, which resulted in a dilemma- dw was scheduled to move back to chicago, but she wanted to stay with him. however, he decided to move back with her and now the two live in chicago again. they have a dog, a small russet-coloured female dachshund who’s 2 years old but nearing 3. the couple is so happy that despite all chaos they were able to be together.
names: dw’s fn is common in the ‘90s, and her middle name is old-ladyish and dated. her last name is some sort of smoosh between two words. dh has a traditionally belgian name. the dog has a quirky-cute sort of name that one wouldn’t normally expect on a dog. dw and dh hyphenated their names.

backstory: dh1 (25) is a smart young man based in london, england who’s training to become a doctor, particularly an open heart surgeon as his single mother recently died of a heart condition. he recently started dating dh2 (24), who was his close childhood friend and neighbor- the two always had crushes on each other and are so glad dh1 acted on it, because now they’re married and so happy together. the two live in a studio apartment together.
names: dh1’s first name is modern and spunky, and his middle name is classic. his maiden last name is one syllable. dh2’s fn is whimsical and his mn is nature inspired. his maiden last name contains “rose” somewhere in it. the two smooshed their names together.

backstory: dw (21) is an avid reader who’s studying to achieve her higher literary degree. her dream is to be an esteemed writer. so when dh (21), the electric-guitar-playing bad-boy of their college, came and turned her life upside down, she tried to suppress her feelings for him but it didn’t work and she ended up having to tell him. surprisingly, he reciprocated and the two eloped just this march. they live in new york city, usa.
names: dw has a literary and classical sounding first name with a nickname, and a middle name that starts with the same letter. her last name is color related. dh has a short, punchy-sounding first name and a musician-inspired middle name. his last name is spanish, as he’s half puerto rican.

backstory: dm (19) is a single woman who plans to be a single mom. she is still in college (attending university at harvard!) but plans to be a computer engineer- as the only child of her strict immigrant parents she’s felt a lot of pressure all her life to be the best at everything she does. she currently owns one pet, a female carnival goldfish who’s two weeks old. she doesn’t have any kids…yet! 
names: dm’s parents are immigrants from malaysia- give her a name that fits her heritage. her english name was picked by her, make it a very strait-laced name as that’s her personality. her fish’s name is something very, very basic for a goldfish.

backstory: dw (31) and dh (34) have been married for five years. they still haven’t conceived yet but have hope for the future and really really want to in the future. the couple are very in love, and met through work- both are bored office workers who spend their days whiling away in a cubicle after a long drive in their smelly minivan to the office building, an hour away. the duo owns a dog, a male schnauzer (7). they lead a boring life in rural missouri, but that could all change in an instant…
beware, players. things are going to get spicy real fast.
names: dw’s first name is common in the late 1980s-early 1990s and seen as dated. her middle name is traditional, and her maiden last name is a word. dh’s first name is the most boring name you can think of, and his middle name starts with a “b”. his last name literally has a meaning that’s related to boredom, or is a word that means boredom or boring. for some crazy reason, dw decides to take dh’s last name. schnauzer’s name is whatever u want.
