Hi! So, I really love NTBs and wanted to try making one. Hope you like it
Family One:
LN:
DH:
DW:
DH is from the U.S, but has a traditional, clunky, old-fashioned British first name, and a trendy, “American” middle name, while DW is from England and has a trendy, “American” first name, and an old-fashioned British middle. DH went to England to study at Oxford, ending up in several classes with her, and everyone thought it was quite funny! They hyphenated their surname. The first half is three syllables and the second half is one syllable.
Family Two:
LN:
DH:
DW:
Their parents were friends before they were even born, so these two grew up thick as thieves! DW’s name is Dutch, honoring her heritage, and DH’s name is Russian, honoring his. They both liked having unique names growing up! Their middle names are both honor names for family members (please specify who!). Their surname is Russian, but is luckily fairly easy to pronounce.
Family Three:
LN:
DH:
DW:
These two meet because of a mutual love for music, and eventually started a band with a few friends. They were very popular for a few years, but then the band fizzled out so the artists could settle down and start families. Now they give private music lessons, ranging from voice to ukulele, at their cosy country home in Maine. DH has a nature-themed name, and his middle name was popular in 1906. DW’s first name is short and sweet. She wasn’t given a middle name, but when they started the band she unofficially gave herself a music-related middle to celebrate. Their surname is Celtic.
Family Four:
LN:
DH:
DW:
DW immigrated from Guatemala to the Canada as soon as she was old enough, following a disagreement with her parents. She became a Spanish teacher, and her future husband was one of her first students, due to his plans to become a Christian missionary in her home country. After they married, they moved back to Guatemala permanently, and she managed to reforge some of her broken relationships with her family. Her first name is a Spanish name with a happy meaning, and her middle is a name that is reasonably well known in both the U.S and Central America. DH’s name is Scandinavian, honoring his heritage, and his middle is a traditional American name (his family’s reasoning being that he could go by his middle if he wished for something more “normal”). Their surname is from the same Scandinavian country as his first name (please specify which!)
Family Five:
LN:
DH:
DW:
Both of their names begin with V, and they both went by the nickname Vi before meeting each other, so now both of them have found different nicknames so it doesn’t get confusing! DH’s is a normal, expected nickname based on his name, while DW is a bit of a name nerd and found a really unexpected nickname for her name (Example: Adelaide — Daisy. It’s okay if the nicknames still start with V, or not.) DH’s middle name is very uncommon and DW’s is floral. Their surname is in the top 20 of England.
