[name]Cody[/name] was one of my favourite boys names for a long time, but I nixed it do to not being able to imagine a 37 year old [name]Cody[/name], let alone a 37 year old [name]Judge[/name] [name]Cody[/name] Lastname.
I dunno, it feels like a teenage name, but I do like it.
[name]Do[/name] you think it’s appropriate enough, or was I right in nixing it?
im not a huge cody fan personally, but i honestly think it could age well - i could imagine a grown cody, as well as a cute little boy cody! I wouldnt nix it if you like it.
My dad has a friend named [name]Cody[/name], so I can definitely imagine it on a grown man. There is also a [name]James[/name] [name]Cody[/name] on my family tree born in 1894, so [name]Cody[/name] is not just a teenage name.
My parents named my brother [name]Cody[/name] because of their trip to [name]Cody[/name], [name]Wyoming[/name]. I’m actually not a huge fan of the name either, but on my brother it works. It think it’s just one of those names.
The husband from the polygamy show “[name]Sister[/name] Wives” is called [name]Kody[/name], so I definitely think it works on an adult.
I love [name]Cody[/name] and would put it on my list if it didn’t seem so nicknamey. The nicknamey-ness is what puts me off, I can definitely see it on an adult.
