Why are some names green, some pink, some orange etc.? Thanks!
The colours represent the gender of the name, or what Nameberry considers to be the gender of the name. [name_f]Pink[/name_f] = girl and blue = boy, inevitably. [name_u]Orange[/name_u] is ‘unisex’. Personally I find it distracting and preferred it when all the names were pale green…
[name_u]Green[/name_u] represents a name you have recently viewed the page of.
Yep - I find that confusing too, and, I’ve never understood how a unisex name becomes orange - pink + blue = purple, haha. Keeping them all one colour is much easier to read, so when I’m reading something, I click all the names then refresh the page
