My favorite name game to play in the past by myself is to try to combine the Father and Mother names to create one boy and one girl name.
For example: [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] would have a son [name_m]Jack[/name_m] (first letter ‘J’ because that’s what Mom’s name starts with and ends with ‘k’ type sound because [name_u]Michael[/name_u] has a “ch” in the middle), and a daughter [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] (starts with ‘M’ because that’s what Dad’s name starts with and has an ‘l’ because it hasn’t been used yet and also two ‘s’ because Mom’s name has that. Obviously there is some leeway here and if you can’t come up with a name that starts with the Mom or Dad’s first letter you can try middle letters for example "ch’ in the dad’s name or ‘ca’ to start the name and use other letters to finish, if still stuck try doing just one name or see if you can think a friend or Grandparent name to use. So to continue my game, come up with a married couple and see if you can combine the names! If you can not come up with both one boy and one girl name that is also quite alright!
