So this question actually came about as I plan to do an abstract painting of the imagery I get for each name combo (I’m out of painting ideas XD ) But I would love a few other opinions and imagery (can also just be colours) so that my own opinion and imagery is challenged that way it feels more definite… if that makes sense?
So the 5 combos I would love an opinion on and any imagery you get from the singular name or combos are:
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] all have forest imagery. I think of a goddess of the forest. Redhaired and very fairy-like.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] go together to me as a very strong viking-like name.
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] reminds me of a witch. If you have ever seen American Horror [name_u]Story[/name_u] Coven the Supreme witch’s daughter is named [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is very into making potions. So I think that fits with the other nature-themed names.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - dewy morning walks in rhe summer when the sun’s just risen, greens, oranges and gold. There’s also something purple about it, something that reminds me of amethyst clusters and galaxies
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] - this names gives off pink and grey imagery, lace dresses and fancy soaps. At the same time, there’s also the feel of hikes in the rain and sweeping stunning landscapes
[name_f]Theia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]- all sunshine, light and brightness, vivid blues and reds, pinks with a dash of purple and yellow
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] - a cottage by the beach, a blue sky with white fluffy clouds, fresh air and calmness
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] - all deep purples, pinks and specks of blue, galaxies , stars and the sea at night
These two I had clear imagery on, while the others I didn’t so…
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] – laying on the grass in a clearing in the middle of the forest, looking up through the silhouetted tree canopy at the night sky.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] – [name_f]Freya[/name_f] always makes me think tangled, braided hair, warpaint and a campfire…[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f], paired with [name_f]Freya[/name_f], makes me think of camping lakeside, the view of the lake through a veil of soft rain while laying in a tent or van.
I do a similar thing – painting/drawing/free-writing based on imagery – with individual names (or songs) - playing with symbolism, association and imagination is a lot of fun!

[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] ~ sparrow in the sun
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] ~ a dip dyed dress worn by a calm and collected woman
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - This combo as a whole makes me think of the colour yellow… [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] brings some bright flowers in while [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] just seems like such a happy name, and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] makes me think of the sky.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] - White, clear, purity… waterlilies. I think of a pretty girl with flowing blonde hair, blue eyes, and freckles wearing a frilly white dress while dancing in a meadow.
[name_f]Theia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - This one is mixed for me. [name_f]Theia[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] gives me beachy vibes while [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] adds some florals. [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m]?
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] - Another happy yellow name. Rolling hills with the sun shining bright.
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] - The sea. A deep blue sea. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] adds some specks of brighter colours… Maybe flower petals on the water.
