Comfy sweater names

What are names or nicknames that have a comfy grandma/grandpa sweater sound to you? I’m wanting to add some to my list since I think this type of name goes really well with my fiance’s last name. We’re not sure whose last name we’re going to give our kids yet but so far we decided that girls get my last name and boys get his. His last name is Norwegian–I’m open to names popular in Norway too!

Names on this list so far:
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]

[name_f]Ida[/name_f]
[name_u]Dexter[/name_u]

[name_u]Alfie[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m]

Here are some that have that vibe to me, but I wanted to ask, do you plan on giving children of yours different last names if they’re different genders until you’re married or will the gender of the first child depend on which last names they will get until you’re married (because the first one seems quite silly and extremely inconvenient)?

Thank you, great suggestions!

Honestly I should do a whole post on the last name issue lol. What I was saying before would look like this. Let’s say his last name is Haugen and mine is [name_u]March[/name_u]. Our kids’ names would look like the following:

DS: [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] Haugen
DD: [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u]

or

DD: [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u]
DD: [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] Haugen

or

DS: [name_m]Archie[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] Haugen
DS: [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]March[/name_u]

I really doubt we will end up doing this and we’ll probably only have one child anyway. We live in a place where this wouldn’t be a huge problem (lots of alternative families). We also won’t be TTC until after the wedding. We’re both keeping our own last names. I was determined to give my kids my last name, because I love it and because I hate that children almost always get their father’s last name. But now I’m warming to my fiance’s. I’ve been keeping separate lists of names that sound best with my last name and his last name, so just wanting to add to his!

If you’ll only have one child then it wouldn’t be a problem at all, though I do feel that different surnames for biological full siblings would not only be the simplest way to go but also the most comfortable for them, not having to explain that they are, indeed, full siblings, not half or step siblings (which I feel like many people would assume).
Did you think about hyphenating your names for your kids (as in, you both keep your names but the kids get both)?
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]March[/name_u]-Haugen or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u]-Haugen sound incredibly lovely and sophisticated and the 1-2 syllable pattern or your last names (should that actually be the case) flows really nicely.

I totally see what you mean and I’ve thought about it too. I’m not into hyphens and ours wouldn’t go well together. I’m sure we’ll just pick one last name for them.

Here are some I like that have that feel to me:

[name_f]Hilde[/name_f]/[name_f]Hilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Leona[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]

[name_m]Ansel[/name_m]
[name_u]Elias[/name_u]
[name_m]Amos[/name_m]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]
