Like how girls have [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] etc.
[name_f]My[/name_f] guess would be [name_u]John[/name_u], [name_m]Paul[/name_m] or [name_u]Joseph[/name_u], but I’m really not sure.
[name_f]Pretty[/name_f] much any classic name are popular middle names: [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Robert[/name_u], [name_u]William[/name_u], [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], [name_u]Timothy[/name_u]
I’ve heard [name_u]James[/name_u] & [name_u]William[/name_u] quite a lot. I know a couple people with the middle name [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_u]David[/name_u], & [name_u]Charles[/name_u].
[name_u]James[/name_u] by far. Almost every guy I know either has the middle name [name_u]James[/name_u] or a brother/relative with the middle name [name_u]James[/name_u] (myself included lol!). Weirdly, every [name_u]James[/name_u] I know has the middle name [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] Maybe it’s to do with flow? [name_u]Or[/name_u] a big conspiracy
Other common ones are [name_u]William[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_u]George[/name_u], [name_u]Robert[/name_u], [name_u]Edward[/name_u]. I think compared to the first name, middles are more likely to be honours rather than necessarily “popular” names, which is why you see a lot of traditional-style names in the middle spot.
I think [name_u]James[/name_u] is by far the most used one, followed by [name_u]William[/name_u]
also very common:
[name_u]Charles[/name_u]
[name_u]Edward[/name_u]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_u]Douglas[/name_u]
[name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Philip[/name_m]
[name_m]Anthony[/name_m]
[name_u]Lee[/name_u]
