As I write this post (a sequel to my other post about this topic), there have been 331* babies named in the compromise game.

They have 331 first names in total (279 unique) and 594 middle names total (462 unique).
This means that 84.3% of first names are unique** and 77.8% of middle names are unique**.

The most popular first names are

  1. Hugo (5 uses)
  2. Iris (4 uses)
  3. (7 way tie) August, Casper, Caspian, Daphne, Ivy, Sebastian, Theodore (3 uses)

The most popular middle names are

  1. August (6 uses)
  2. Pearl (5 uses)
  3. (7 way tie) Eleanor, Felix, Henry, Lavender, Moon, Poet, Wilde (4 uses)

*There may be more than 331, I just have 331 recorded
**Including first uses of names that would later have more uses, making it “unique names” as in “individual names rather than multiple instances of the same name”, not “unique names” as in “names that have only been used once”

Interesting! All of the most popular choices seem to be Berry-favorites, unsuprisingly!

I find it interesting how middle names tend to repeat more than first names.

Also, a statistic I didn’t include in the post, there are 1.79 middle names per baby in this game (using the numbers of babies and middle names listed in the post)

I think this is the best way to find out what berries like the most, because 2 berries had it in the middle of their [name_m]Venn[/name_m] diagrams, and then that happened multiple times over. How awesome!
