Conri

I’ve been really afraid of asking about names since I got pregnant, but I really want to know what people think and know about this one. I think it’s just so cozy.

I can only find a few things about pronunciation, all basically saying it’s phonetic. I’m a little worried about the i as that is not a commonly used character. I don’t want to change it just to make it easier, but I don’t see a problem with it if it isn’t necessary.

I’m really just wondering if anyone knows or can find anything about it. [name]How[/name] do you think it would sound on a little American boy? [name]How[/name] do you think it would sound with a very Italian (sounding, his ancestors were actually French) last name?

I think I would prefer Conry, as the I looks a bit feminine. I would also like Conwy or [name]Conway[/name].

It’s neither fish nor fowl… Rather like [name]Henri[/name], with a prominent ‘con’ sound that’s a bit unfortunate. I can see why youre drawn to it but I think it doesn’t quite hit the mark.

I think Conri sounds handsome. I suppose it does look a bit feminine with the ‘i’. Conry would fix that but I do like it with the ‘i’ spelling too. You could always use it for a middle name.

Sort of rhymes with ennui.
What about [name]Connery[/name]? It pushes the trendy [name]Connor[/name] toward the more interesting [name]Flannery[/name], Diggory, [name]Montgomery[/name], and the sexy but unisex [name]Valery[/name] and [name]Hilary[/name]. [name]Just[/name] saw the new [name]Bond[/name] movie, so I’m inspired.
