What is (in your opinion) some of the coolest names you’ve ever heard for a boy?
I heard the name [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] used.
“Cool” is a hard criterion to define, but I think [name_u]Justice[/name_u] is awesome and sort of badass.
It’s super trendy right now where I live so I don’t think I’d use it, but I like [name_m]Crew[/name_m]. Short, simple, and so stinkin cool.

I’d have to go with the following names…
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] - I adore [name_m]Archer[/name_m] but not the nickname [name_m]Archie[/name_m]. It just doesn’t sound pleasant to me. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] sounds so pretty. Although I might stay away from this name if you’re not a fan of the show Riverdale.
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] - I adore this name but my boyfriend is not a fan of this name. He much prefers [name_u]Ashton[/name_u].
[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] - This is a great name for anyone who loves Greek mythology. I adore this name.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] - I had a friend in high school who once said she would name her baby boy [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]. That was 6 or 7 years ago. Now I totally agree with her on how beautiful this name is.
[name_u]August[/name_u] - I wanted to use this name but my boyfriend is not a fan of month names.
[name_m]Benji[/name_m] - I love the nickname [name_m]Ben[/name_m] and it feels like an awesome name for any boy. Thanks, [name_m]Benji[/name_m] [name_m]Madden[/name_m].
[name_m]Ford[/name_m] - I had heard this name plenty of times before but it wasn’t until [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] [name_m]Ervin[/name_m] on YouTube named her baby [name_m]Ford[/name_m] that I fell in love with the name. I nearly considered it for one of my kids.
[name_u]Grey[/name_u] - I know two Greys who are father and son. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]'s grandfather has the same name. I adore this for a middle name over [name_m]Greyson[/name_m].
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nickname [name_m]Griff[/name_m], although I’ve also heard the nickname [name_u]Finn[/name_u] with this name as well. I want to use this on my little boy.
[name_m]Hendrix[/name_m] - I love that this ends in an X. I also love the idea of using the nickname [name_m]Henry[/name_m] for this name.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] - As a huge Beatles fan this is such a perfect name without being too obvious. It got rejected by the boyfriend.
[name_m]Knox[/name_m] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] like [name_m]Nash[/name_m] is for a lover of Nashville, [name_m]Knox[/name_m] is for a lover of Knoxville, [name_u]Tennessee[/name_u]. This is a cute and adorable baby name.
[name_u]Lennox[/name_u] - Such an unusual choice. It was almost one of my son’s middle names.
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] - This is one of the cutest names I’ve ever heard. Highly considering it for a middle name.
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] - I first heard this a name thanks to [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] and [name_m]Link[/name_m] on YouTube. [name_m]Link[/name_m] [name_u]Neal[/name_u]'s full name is [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_u]Neal[/name_u] II and his son is [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_u]Neal[/name_u] III. [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] is such a cool name for anyone in love with Presidential names.
[name_u]Luca[/name_u] - I much prefer this name to [name_m]Luke[/name_m] or [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]. However, my boyfriend doesn’t like it. If he did like it I would have used it in a heartbeat. I just love that [name_u]Hilary[/name_u] [name_u]Duff[/name_u] named her son [name_u]Luca[/name_u].
[name_m]Milo[/name_m] - I first heard this as a kid on [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_m]Thatch[/name_m] in [name_f]Atlantis[/name_f]: The Lost Empire (My boyfriend is a huge fan of this movie). As a huge fan of [name_u]Michael[/name_u] J. [name_m]Fox[/name_m], this would be a cool name to use.
[name_m]Nash[/name_m] - If you love Nashville this would be an awesome name to give any little boy.
[name_u]Oakley[/name_u] - This is one nature name I would totally use for a boy. It’s just another reject in the reject pile for my boyfriend.
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] ([name_u]Sully[/name_u]) - I have always loved the movie Monsters, Inc. [name_u]Sully[/name_u] is a great character you can fall in love with. I adore this name and the nickname [name_u]Sully[/name_u]. The boyfriend didn’t like it though.
[name_m]Walt[/name_m] - I adore this name. I’m not a fan of the name [name_m]Walter[/name_m] but [name_m]Walt[/name_m] is just so cute.
[name_m]Wilder[/name_m] - Too much of a cute name to use on my little boy. But if you’re brave enough, go ahead and use this gorgeous name.

I guess cool is in the eye of the beholder. I would say I find more out there, stately, nature-inspired types of boys names to be the coolest.

I can’t really think of anyone I have actually met that has had a totally “wow cool” name to me. I will never get to use any of my “wow-cool” names either, since my partner likes to keep things pretty tame and traditional in the name department. I felt like I was trying to sneak arthritis medication to my mom’s dog by disguising it in meat when suggesting names for our son to my SO lol 
I think we ended up with a good compromise name though, and it fits our son well.
Oh, I met a Zephyr once. I think that’s pretty cool!
