I love both names so the way you pronounce [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] would make a difference in rating the names for me. Is it “kor-in” or “kor-een”? I find the “rin” has a more softer and pleasant sound than the “reen”. I think [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] would be a lovely combo and I also think that the two of them would be fabulous names for sisters if you wanted to save one for later.
I think [name_f]Iris[/name_f] will come out on top, knowing Nameberry. And [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is really beautiful.
But I think I like [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] more. It’s not really my style but I think it’s just gorgeous.
This is difficult as I have a cousin [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] and an Aunty [name_f]Iris[/name_f]!
But I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] more - vintage gem in the midst of a revival, both floral and mythological, a name equally suited to a little girl and a strong woman.
I would use it myself if it wasn’t already taken by my Aunt!
I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] more, but I agree with pps that [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] would be a great combo, and that [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] would be great sisters. I don’t really think you can lose in this case.
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a nice name but is just makes me think of eyes… I think [name_f]Corrine[/name_f] is such an underused classic.
So hard since both names are so pretty. I voted [name_f]Iris[/name_f].
I love both, but I prefer [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] to [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I like how [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] sounds, the look, and the nn [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Iris[/name_f] too, but [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] is just beautiful. [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] or [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], either way would be lovely.
