Cornish girls names

Hello

My colleague at work is looking for feedback on Cornish girls names - she and her partner met in Cornwall and thought it would be nice to use one of the following Cornish names:

[name_f]Demelza[/name_f]
[name_f]Endellion[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] (noting that in Cornish this is prn. [name_f]El[/name_f]-OH-wen, not [name_f]ELLE[/name_f]-o-wen)
[name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]
Elestren
Zerren

FWIW, My favourites are [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].

Let me know feedback for her

I adore [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]!

I love, love, love [name_f]Endellion[/name_f].

However my favorite Cornish name is Rosenwyn, which means ‘fair rose’. I’d use it in a heartbeat if I had any Cornish blood.

My favorite is [name_f]Karensa[/name_f]/[name_f]Karenza[/name_f] with the nn [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. The name is beautiful, interesting, sweet yet energetic, and then there’s that cute nn, too! [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] is very pretty, too, but seems less ‘name-like’ in the real world to me. Also the nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] seems overused, or [name_f]Della[/name_f] I suppose…I guess [name_m]Lio[/name_m]/[name_m]Lion[/name_m] would be a spunky nn!

i agree with you–I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and [name_f]Endellion[/name_f]!

I named my daughter [name_f]Kerenza[/name_f], so this gets my vote

Elestren sounds like a pharmaceutical. [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] is quite pretty.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is my favorite! I also like [name_u]Penrose[/name_u] a lot.

I like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] a lot. I find that the others are a bit of a mouthful.

[name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] is my favorite. It just sound beautiful, but also spunky. I also like [name_f]Jenifry[/name_f] (related to [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]).
