Have decided on the name [name]Felicity[/name] and narrowed down choice of middle names to [name]Joy[/name] or [name]Jane[/name].
I like the sound of [name]Joy[/name] better, but is it too corny? I want an elegant name that is beautiful but will be taken seriously, especially as she grows up.
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is a lovely combo, but it feels lacking because of the obvious connection. Perhaps [name]Joyce[/name]? If not, then I vote for [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
[name]Both[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joy[/name] are nice combos. I think I prefer [name]Joy[/name] though because it isnt as predictable as [name]Jane[/name] would be.

Two word names together are too much for my tastes, especially since [name]Felicity[/name] and [name]Joy[/name] mean essentially the same thing–happiness. I’d go with one of the other options, but since most people she meets won’t know her middle name anyway, if you really love it, it probably wouldn’t be a huge deal to use it.
I love the sound of [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joy[/name] a lot more than [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. And I think 2 word names together are fine
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joy[/name] is a double dose of happiness, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing. If she ends up being a dark cloud type of person, the worst that could happen is that her name will be ironic. [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is my personal preference because I prefer [name]Jane[/name] over [name]Joy[/name].
I love both [name]Felicity[/name] and [name]Joy[/name] but together, they just dont work for me because they’re so similar in meaning, like naming a daughter [name]Faith[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (although obviously that combo sounds a lot worse), it’s just a little much.
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is lovely. [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joyce[/name], while its still there, its a little less in your face.
I love [name]Joy[/name] with just about any name. It is my middle name, too! But I have to say, for me personally, [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sounds so much more substantial and cohesive. I think I like the look of [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] better too vs. [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Joy[/name]. They both end in “y” and for some reason that bugs me. But, I do love [name]Joy[/name], and think it does sound fine with [name]Felicity[/name]. Either way, it is a lovely name!
