Cottage core names

I got to thinking about some guilty pleasure names after somebody mentioned it in another post. One of my favourite GP names is [name_u]Foxglove[/name_u] and then I started dreaming up some more and I would call them cottage core sort of names and I would love to hear anybody else’s cottage core kind of names.

So mine are quite floral because I think of cottage gardens and kitchen gardens but I also have some kind of clunky old lady names and Arthurian legend or Shakespearean name that just feel like a cottage in the woods vibes to me. Not all are GP names as I would totally use some of them.

This is a lovely list! Cottagecore names for me always evoke that whimsical, nature-y, and gently old-fashioned feel. Lots of nature names (of course), vintage names and nicknames, some word names, and often I find a lot of Irish, Scottish, Welsh, and Cornish names give me that fairy-esque vibe.

Some of my favorites that give me this vibe:
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
