Could Elias and Ruby ever work in a sibset?

Is there any possible way that [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] could work in a sibset? Why or why not? If not, what would work better? If you add a third sibling, [name]Jude[/name], is [name]Ruby[/name] the outcast? Please help!
Thanks in advance!

I like [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] better then [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. In terms of working I think the really depends one how much you want your children’s names to line up and how important that is to you. I mean there is nothing to stop you from having [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] but I would think [name]Elliot[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] work better together. And with [name]Elias[/name], [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] then [name]Ruby[/name] does stand out. But it might not be something that would really bother her.

I don’t find [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] odd in a sibset. They both strike me as names coming back into fashion. Additionally, I think brothers’ and sisters’ names don’t need to coordinate as well as same gender siblings. And [name]Jude[/name] is great with [name]Elias[/name].

It depends on whether or not it bothers you. Most people in real life don’t overanalyze sibset names. I see that [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] go together, and [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] is a bit better than [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Elias[/name]. But at the same time, if I knew a family with these names, I’d probably just think the kids had cool names.

Yes, of course [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] would work as siblings. [name]Jude[/name] also works well with [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. However, I don’t think [name]Ruby[/name] would be the odd one out in that sibling set. If anything, [name]Elias[/name] would be, because [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] both have four letters and have a “u” as the second letter.

I don’t see why [name]Elias[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] can’t work in a sibset. They both have their own vintage charm. I love [name]Jude[/name] too but would hesitate to use [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] together just because of the similar sounds of Ju and Ru.

I don’t see any issue, unless its two of the names being Biblical or two having U’s. I don’t care for [name_u]Elias[/name_u] at all, but see no real issue with those three names together.

I like all three together.

Actually, I knew a [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] sibset. The boy went by [name_m]Eli[/name_m]. I must confess, I always thought it was an odd sibset, although both names are nice.

I second this. [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] end up being the Bible names and not [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]?? All three are fairly stylish right now and they all sound great together, if you don’t mind the rhyme of Ru and Ju.

I agree with [name_u]Mischa[/name_u]!
