As someone who hates conflict - in part as she’s very outspoken once pushed - [name_f]Mara[/name_f] is doing her best to keep her head down and not argue with [name_u]Remi[/name_u] over the boyfriend situation, as she does genuinely like the other girl in spite of this annoying habit. She hosts a successful podcast from her room which focuses on promoting underground artists and content producers, including some anonymous one’s who she gets voice over actors for to protect their privacy, while sharing their experiences and perspectives.
It’s [name_f]Mara[/name_f] who does the majority of the cooking - a habit she picked up thanks to being raised by a single father who works as a fire fighter and subsequently worked odd hours, meaning she and her sister (who’s only a year older) ended up having to mature quickly. [name_f]Mara[/name_f] knows her dad feels guilty about this, in spite of she and her sister feeling no ill will towards him, given that he was thrust into single parenthood after their mom was convicted of insurance fraud and the family fell apart. Although she was only three at the time, [name_f]Mara[/name_f] struggles with shame regarding this still, and can be quite obsessive about not getting into debt as a result, structuring her expenses carefully.
With the upcoming moving process (which [name_f]Mara[/name_f] has been privy to after she took Yves’s side in the argument), she’s decided to go and live a close friend who she’s known for six years. She doesn’t hold any ill will towards [name_m]Yves[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_u]Remi[/name_u] for this change, understanding it’s for the best and will stop a serious fallout from happening over the boyfriend issue.
