She shares a class with [name_f]Daveisha[/name_f], but that’s all she knows about her. [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] is the second oldest of five children, and is editor in chief of the student newspaper. She wishes to be a journalist someday, despite her parents protesting this dream of hers. [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] knows that her parents would wish she was in a more ‘practical’ field (whatever that means), but she’s deadset on making this dream of her happens.
There has been a storm brewing within the newspaper, though— she knows there’s some beef between the editors and the writers that stems from their personal lives. [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] thinks everyone’s being immature and letting their personal issues taint business, but things might change her perspective: her ex-boyfriend’s joined the newspaper, and she really, really dislikes him.
