Chelsea Alicia Caravella (22) is a young mom with a daughter named Luna Jo. She loves singing, dancing, and theater. She also loves animals, especially dogs. She currently works in a nursing home.

She tends to be an upbeat person, something she feels helps with the sadness of her job due to animals suffering.
[name_m]Samson[/name_m] ’ Sam’ [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] Cavill (19) is Emma’s younger brother who’s still at home and is very much controlled by his parents, even if he presents externally as living the carefree lifestyle of an influencer. Although he makes a good income with sponsors and collabs with other successful people, Mr and Mrs Cavill keep a tight grip on his bank account and personally steer him away from dating, as they’re of the opinion the girls he hangs around with through work aren’t “good enough”.
While [name_u]Sam[/name_u] isn’t happy with these elements of life, this is all he’s known and he fears disappointing his parents more than anything, especially his mother who manipulates him quite frequently. Sometimes he hears from [name_f]Emma[/name_f] but this is the one way he rebels, keeping any contact secret and part of him is afraid of what’ll happen if everything comes out and implodes. [name_u]Sam[/name_u] wouldn’t be surprised if his parents gave him an ultimatum, but honestly, [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is the person he knows he’ll choose.
[name_f]Rosaline[/name] " [name_u]Ro[/name] " [name_u]Quinn[/name] Delacour (19) is one of [name_u]Sam[/name]'s influencer friends and one of his closest confidants. [name_u]Sam[/name] is not an open book, though, and there’s so much she doesn’t know about but she worries.
She’s not without her own issues, though— [name_u]Ro[/name]'s image as an “it” girl has given her self-image and self-esteem issues, and she’s gained some unhealthy habits she won’t dare show the internet. She knows her younger sisters look up to her and she despises that fact. Her parents, who are socialites themselves, just tell her that this is what they have to go through to be successful, but she wishes she was happier.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] " [name_f]Dora[/name_f] " [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] McGinley (19) is a mutual friend of [name_f]Ro[/name_f] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] who’s actually an ex-influencer, having chosen to leave that world behind when the stress and pressure started to majorly weigh on her mental health. Having teetered on the edge of depression since she was fifteen, at the height of her success this imploded due to the perfection she felt could only be shown online, and quickly retreated from the public eye. Now Dora’s working towards studying [name_f]English[/name_f] Literature and pursuing authorship, wanting to pursue her childhood dream of writing for a living which took a backseat for quite some time.
Dora’s especially thankful for her mom and older sibling - who’s non-binary - as they supported her in her pursuits. She and her mother actually went through a rough patch when she first became an influencer, with her mom worrying about Dora’s well-being and she’s admitted it was the right assessment. For the most part now, when she isn’t relaxing with a new book or swimming to help herself relax more, she’s doing her best to provide [name_f]Ro[/name_f] advice. Sam’s someone she knows less well and doesn’t find she can approach him thanks to this but suspects there’s something more going on - even if she can’t quite put her finger on it.
[name_u]Sage[/name] [name_u]Alexis[/name] McGinley (21) is [name_f]Dora[/name]'s older sibling and a barista. Their relationship with their sister was incredibly dark during her influencer years— [name_u]Sage[/name] felt as if they were losing their sister to a misogynistic and patriarchal industry and didn’t want their sister to go through unnecessary trauma.
When they’re not rebuilding their relationship with [name_f]Dora[/name], they’re almost always at their café, literally called Hole in The Wall. They co-own the shop with their girlfriend and their friends are all employees there. They loves their little business and the success that came with it.

[name_f]Era[/name_f] picked up her talent from her granny who helped raise her, thanks to Era’s father working long hours as a truck driver to support his small family following her mom’s sudden passing. She’s a very sentimental and openly affeftionate person who picked up these traits from her beloved grandmother, who she frequently visits when possible now she’s been able to afford her own car and travel freely. A well-known story abour [name_f]Era[/name_f] is how she drove over an hour to collect her friend who was crying followinf a breakup at 3 AM, and it’s a decision she stands by - but if you loose her loyalty (always tied to betrayal), it’s a difficult thing to win back.
Having met [name_u]Sage[/name_u] through a mutual friend when they were jusf fifteen and starting high school, the pair fully clicked swiftly due to [name_f]Era[/name_f] providing a listening ear about their concerns regarding [name_f]Dora[/name_f], not having any siblings herself but seeing how distressed [name_u]Sage[/name_u] was proved enough for her to try. [name_f]Era[/name_f] doesn’t have any big plans regarding the business other than helping the queer community further and their friends/employees, all the while her and Sage’s relationship goes from strength to strength. Recently, [name_f]Era[/name_f] got back in contact wifh a friend she made in middle school and as they’re going through a hard time, she and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] want to offer them a job - but are worried about it seeming like a patronising handout.
[name_u]Eden[/name] [name_f]Eve[/name] Michaelson (19) is [name_f]Era[/name]'s old friend from middle school. Even though their financial situation was never great to begin with, it’s now gotten worse due to their father’s recent passing. They’re managing, but just barely.
They’re the oldest of four children and have gotten into selling their clothes for money, accidentally creating a name for themselves. Refusing to beg their audience for more money, they’re painstakingly looking for a job.

Currently working as a digital marketing manager for a small sustainable fashion business based online, [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is the only person fully aware of Eden’s circumstances and desperately wants to help them get back on their feet.
Thanks to their success based on style alone, she’s hoping there might be a job available on her friends site as an alternative to the coffee shop, but like [name_f]Era[/name_f] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u], doesn’t want to pressure [name_u]Eden[/name_u] or make their own search seem insignificant. He himself has a 2-year-old golden retriever named Simba and is often in awe of how well-behaved Ingrid is compared to him. Having run into trouble with training the dog, he asked Elodie for training tips and that’s how they started talking more frequently. Through getting to know Elodie , Luther gained some hope in the younger generation. He noticed that in spite of Elodie being active in the digital world, she still dedicates a lot of time to her dog, her friends and stays involved in sports through rock climbing. Having been an amateur boxer in the past , he likes talking to Elodie about sports and appreciates the patience she has when explaining the world of social media and e-shopping to him. He even made a purchase through Elodie 's sustainable fashion business for his teenage grandson, which the boy in question really appreciated. Luther thinks that the influence Elodie has on his life has been very positive and wishes he could help her deal with the problem regarding Eden . As a retired window cleaner , he asked Elodie if Eden would like to get employed in a position at his former company. However, he has not gotten a response so far.
[name_f]janice[/name] [name_u]storm[/name] king (17) is one of [name_m]luther[/name]'s grandchildren. she’s an aspiring model and is modelling for her friend’s depop store. put-together and ambitious, she swears she’s going to walk new york fashion week before she turns 25. a lot of her detractors often call her ruthless and cutthroat, but her friends call her hardworking.
the main reason for [name_f]janice[/name]'s work ethic is that her mother was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer— and she wants her mother to see her walk in any fashion show that she can. a cold, sharp exterior masks this vulnerability, and only her best friends see her mask break.
she has two lizards, [name_f]vera[/name] and [name_f]victor[/name], whom she loves.

She’s possibly Janice’s closest confidant, knowing the full impact of her mother’s diagnosis and doing her best to further her friends career, knowing the pain of loss and wanting to do all she can to help her friend through this awful time.
Their closeness doesn’t surprise many people as Indie’s considered hot tempered and abrasive by many people thanks to how blunt she is, combined with a dash of impatience. She always wants to perform at her highest level, be it selling stock or participating in sprinting competitions for the school team, and seems a bit antisocial to those outside her friend group. In spite of this, [name_u]Indie[/name_u] has a very close relationship with her parents who helped her build up her esteem after that rejection years before, and similar to [name_f]Janice[/name_f] she merely wants them to witness her accomplishments.

She and her twin brother were adopted from foster care at 12 , so she can relate to [name_u]Indie[/name_u] on the grounds of getting adopted later in life. She doesn’t look fondly at the past - moving from one foster home to another and never getting a sense of stability is something that affected her mental health and especially her brother’s , who developed rebellious tendencies due to that situtation and is a nutorious “bad boy” & heartbreaker known in the whole town for being in a conflict with not one , but two ex-girlfriends. She wishes to be a journalist someday, despite her parents protesting this dream of hers. [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] knows that her parents would wish she was in a more ‘practical’ field (whatever that means), but she’s deadset on making this dream of her happens.
There has been a storm brewing within the newspaper, though— she knows there’s some beef between the editors and the writers that stems from their personal lives. After things ended he then briefly began dating someone else which was very much a rushed rebound, and this relationship petered out a month ago - fairly amicable given the circumstances, and in comparison to hk2m and [name_u]Lauren[/name_u].
Like [name_u]Lauren[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u] comes from a large family, being the youngest of six siblings. This is what created a lot of his tendencies to withdraw, feeling inferior compared to his successful older siblings who were all noted academics throughout school, and while [name_u]Rory[/name_u] always does well in exams, it never feels enough. More than anything he wants to focus on international journalism and to travel extensively, fleeing the pressures of home and school - a dream only his best friend knows of. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] knows arguments might break out between him and [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] but really couldn’t care less (or so he says), being determined to not pass up this opportunity.

While he may seem supportive at first, he doesn’t really trust journalists as professionals , thinking that they only ever make money on clickbait articles and dragging celebrities through the mud - a belief that has only been amplified after his sister , who’s Youtuber , got into a minor controversy and her mental health has been affected by gossip spread through online forums.
He supports his sister unconditionally and does fun things with her such as skateboarding while she takes a break from social media. He wants to tell [name_u]Rory[/name_u] about not supporting the idea of him joining the newspaper and wants to warn him about the internal turmoil that he knows of from his second sister, who’s a graphic designer there. Apart from simply not trusting journalists , he also doesn’t want his friend to suffer due to [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] entering back into his life after a messy break-up. However, [name_m]Grant[/name_m] doesn’t quite have the courage to tell his friend all that yet.
Him and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] have been friends since childhood due to being neighbours their whole lives - [name_m]Grant[/name_m] really appreciated the ability to play with [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as a child , as having two sisters made him eager to make friends with other boys in the neighbourhood. Rory’s stories about a crazy home-life with 6 children in the house seemed almost like science-fiction to him. His life with the siblings he has was always much more harmonious , even if they were a little bit overscheduled because of their mother [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and father Sang-hoon signing them up for many extracurricular activities to “beef up their college application”. His parents don’t really understand why he chose to take a gap year after high school instaed of going to university, given that he’s always been a straight-A student. The truth is that he deeply relates to [name_u]Rory[/name_u] when it comes to never feeling good enough despite doing well in exams. He is afraid of leaving his family home and entering adult life with full force. Despite being 19 , he still feels like a kid inside and loves goofing off with not just [name_u]Rory[/name_u] , but also other guys in the neighbourhood.
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] is the one who encouraged [name_u]Rory[/name_u] to enter a new relationship right after he broke up with [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] - something he now regrets, as [name_f]Kendra[/name_f] ,the girl in question , won’t stop bothering him to “convince [name_u]Rory[/name_u] to come back to her”. He recently came to the conclusion that despite wanting to be supportive towards both [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and his sisters, he often tends to neglect his own needs to keep them happy. He is trying to engage in more self-care recently and talk more honestly about his feelings, which isn’t always easy , as he feels preassured to keep the facade of the “funny friend” that he built over the years.
