[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_u]Davis[/name_u] Beckfall (18) is Lauren’s ex and the dreaded upcoming edition to the paper. Their relationship came to an end after a lot of arguing and poor communication, stemming from [name_u]Rory[/name_u] being notably short and evasive which never failed to annoy [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] as she felt he couldn’t be upfront about anything. After things ended he then briefly began dating someone else which was very much a rushed rebound, and this relationship petered out a month ago - fairly amicable given the circumstances, and in comparison to hk2m and [name_u]Lauren[/name_u].
Like [name_u]Lauren[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u] comes from a large family, being the youngest of six siblings. This is what created a lot of his tendencies to withdraw, feeling inferior compared to his successful older siblings who were all noted academics throughout school, and while [name_u]Rory[/name_u] always does well in exams, it never feels enough. More than anything he wants to focus on international journalism and to travel extensively, fleeing the pressures of home and school - a dream only his best friend knows of. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] knows arguments might break out between him and [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] but really couldn’t care less (or so he says), being determined to not pass up this opportunity.
