[name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Seine[/name_f] Rossignol (10) is the bully raised by Malcolm’s bully. She only ever cares about money and especially status. She also teaches her younger siblings - 8 year old sister and 5-year-old brother - these very same tactics. [name_f]Diana[/name_f] has been taught this not only by her dad but also by her mom , who was desperate for fame her whole life and even played in several theathre plays when she was younger, was an acting student at university and then taught at the same kind of community theathre after she married her husband. She has acting skills but most of the family’s friends just view her as a " throphy wife " without any skills besides looking pretty. This is because the Rossignol family has a live-in maid who cooks and cleans for them and teaches the children how to do basic tasks. As a result , [name_f]Diana[/name_f] 's younger brother is more respectful towards the maid than his own mother - [name_f]Diana[/name_f] sees that her mother can never say " no " to any of the siblings , buys them everything they want and doesn’t really put boundries on their screentime, resulting in [name_f]Diana[/name_f] 's brother being addicted to his IPad, her 8-year-old sister becoming the " Invisible child " who is always " the one that’s doing fine and is the nice one" and [name_f]Diana[/name_f] herself reacting with bullying people at school and desperately searching for popularity to make up for the fact that she lakcs any quality time withe her parents. This is why she was very happy to bully [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] while she and her dad were buying furniture - all she wanted was for her dad to meaningfully notice her and she knew that the only way to do this is being the " shark". As [name_f]Diana[/name_f] 's father says People that are sharks have thier way of hunting , connecting the dots and eating the small fish. You have to develop a routine , you have to “hunt” the small fish by having your own habits, knowing how to read people, how to lead and how to network. And so - [name_f]Diana[/name_f] already puts on make-up everyday at 10 years old and is obsessed with Starbucks being the ultimate " adult " routine . She idolises college girls , especially her 19-year-old cousin, the daughter of her dad’s brother, who gets Starbucks everyday before class. The college student is actually a Psychology student and way more compassionate than eithe of her parents. It is her who helped [name_f]Diana[/name_f] dress as a Starbucks coffee cup for Halloween and went trick or treating with him. [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is beyond excited to go to her uncle’s house for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] and spend [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] with her uncle , her siblings and her cousin. She also likes the wife of her uncle because her dedication to cooking and soft feminine persona really reminds [name_f]Diana[/name_f] of the Rossignol family’s maid. Her parents are flying to [name_f]Thailand[/name_f] for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] and spending the Holidays & [name_u]New[/name_u] Year without their kids in Phuket. They say is for the sake of rejuvenating romance in their relationship, but they don’t know how much this is affecting their kids emotionally. [name_f]Diana[/name_f] told [name_f]Sariah[/name_f] , [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] about how she’s going to spend [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] with her unlce in Miramichi, [name_u]New[/name_u] Brunswick , but it made her angry that they seemed to pity her for the fact that she will not spend it with her parents. So she took them to the furniture store so that they can all pick up new furniture for her room that she can get for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] . [name_f]Diana[/name_f] was going to show her dad how much of a leader she is in her friend group but it annoys her that she no longer has as much influence on [name_f]Sariah[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] as she used to and that they don’t find her behaviour appealing or cool anymore, ignoring most of her antics. All that is seems left to [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is gettng closer in the friendship between her and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] by planning vengance in connection with [name_f]Lotte[/name_f] vanderHeise for destroying [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] 's backpack.
