Kenadee “ [name_f]Deena[/name_f] ” [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_m]Kessler[/name_m] (25) is a friend of [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] and feels very positively on [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] as well. She only somewhat knows the relationship between [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] and [name_f]Amerie[/name_f], knowing it’s rather hidden on Amerie’s end due to her strict family. [name_f]Deena[/name_f] herself is lesbian and knew she only has eyes for women, but is currently single. [name_f]Deena[/name_f] is glad [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] is living zir life to the fullest despite zir family’s rejection and is more than welcome to be “family” for zir in the form of friendship. Many family get-togethers have been done in the form of friends, which [name_f]Deena[/name_f] and [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] both enjoy, although [name_f]Deena[/name_f] is close with her family. Her brother is a father of three girls; [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], and [name_u]Kitty[/name_u], who were born to a genderfluid mother whom [name_f]Deena[/name_f] supports a lot. [name_f]Deena[/name_f] credits the three little girls for making babysitting more fun, although she’s babysat since she was 15, so she’s found it crazy that it’s already been a decade! She definitely loves her nieces the most when babysitting and would do anything for them, loving the feeling of getting to see them again.
While [name_f]Deena[/name_f] loves babysitting for other houses as well, she actually used to be nervous when doing so and didn’t do it alone – she had a fellow responsible babysitter friend there. The two have babysat a lot as a duo, the idea to duo babysit was when [name_f]Deena[/name_f] asked her parents if she could start babysitting and stated she wants to do it because that friend babysits. Her parents told her that maybe she and her friend can do it together, something her friend was excited to agree on, and so the two teenage girls did so as a duo. Admittedly, Deena’s nieces are the only kids she solo babysits, even if she doesn’t really need a partner to babysit anyone. She and her friend just like to do this. However, she has a secret – she’s falling for her fellow babysitter friend. She realises they could really be great parents together and believes there’s a lot of romance potential. [name_f]Deena[/name_f] has told [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] about this and although [name_f]Deena[/name_f] isn’t planning on courting the way [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] and [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] are, she feels she can trust [name_u]Mattie[/name_u]. She likes that they have the romance and commitment to have a courtship but that they’re not extremely tight-laced in terms of talking about children right away and that they’re not a straight and traditional marriage anyway. [name_f]Deena[/name_f] definitely wants to have kids but won’t talk about that with the woman she’s falling for because she really wants to keep their duo professional. She knows that she could do solo babysitting if a relationship (or rejection!) ruins the duo dynamic but after a decade of two-person babysitting with the same buddy, it would be hard for [name_f]Deena[/name_f] to say goodbye to that.
