[name_f]Roselaine[/name_f] “ [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] “ [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] (50) is Al’s older sister, who also happens to be the single mother of Vicky’s boyfriend! [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] teaches language arts but doesn’t work for the same school however, she actually works as a community college professor. She feels people put too much stigma around community colleges when this is what shaped her life. [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] is very pro-education and her son loves feeling smarter for it. But she’s not a shaming person at all, and wouldn’t have seen him as lesser no matter what he did after graduating from school. [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] and [name_m]Al[/name_m] are both intellects and although naturally [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] was that smart-aleck know-it-all older sister growing up, she toned down significantly. She and her brother still joke about this though. While her son is a great piano player and is multilingual, [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] knew these were both things he genuinely enjoyed. Sometimes [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] and her son lose motivation and have to be hyped up before doing something, but both know it doesn’t mean they’re giving up.
[name_m]Rossie[/name_m] feels [name_m]Al[/name_m] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are good buddies and great teachers at their school. [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] wishes sometimes that she was more easygoing like her brother, but enjoys how he always knows how to balance out things. [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] doesn’t like to get into why she’s single or why she raised her son single. She wants to get out there but is waiting for the right person when it comes to commitment. Her son was also the same and thankfully he’s found a lovely girlfriend [name_f]Vicky[/name_f]. [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] loves that her son sees [name_f]Vicky[/name_f] as a strong person, unlike some of the toxic men she’s met who would never admit strength in a woman. [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] and [name_m]Al[/name_m] both love to watch historical movies, though she knows her brother refuses to watch them if they’re too historically inaccurate. And she’s the same way! [name_m]Rossie[/name_m] loves films in general but she’s rather picky and critical, which is why she’s not the best person to spend time at the movies with. Still, she knows a great flick when she sees one and while her life isn’t a movie, she strives to keep it entertaining.
