[name_u]Shadow[/name_u] [name_u]Tyson[/name_u] [name_u]Curry[/name_u] (22) is the father of [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and Leila’s adopted brother, technically being her paternal cousin. The siblings don’t always have the best relationship thanks to the turmoil unleashed upon the family when [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] learned he was adopted following his mother vanishing after asking her brother and sister-in-law to watch her son one afternoon - with the circumstances of the adoption leading to the then-fifteen year old going completely off the rails as betrayal and an identity crisis overwhelmed him. After spending time in juvi for shoplifting and attempting to steal a car, [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] managed to clean himself up, but the stress placed on his parents caused [name_f]Leila[/name_f] to feel a degree of anger towards him as it hurt her greatly seeing how much her brother’s downward spiral tormented them. They can argue from time-to-time in a pretty explosive manner, but due to [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] maturing considerably and accepting the responsibility of his behaviour, this allows him to handle things better and he understands where Leila’s frustrations come from.
He and Luna’s mom no longer together due to her not wanting to raise a baby at just twenty years old - something [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] couldn’t quite overlook thanks to his mother walking away from him, and he still doesn’t actually know what became of her following this. Regardless he’s made it clear if his ex wants to see [name_f]Luna[/name_f] at any point she’s welcome to and is focused on being the best dad possible to his little girl while working in a garage and completing a degree in mechanical engineering; being very clever in spite of many writing him off. [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] still has a somewhat intimidating reputation where other’s are concerned but tries to downplay this, wanting to make it clear he’s moved on from being the angry teenager some people remember clearly. Still he knows this won’t immediately come and often goes walking or driving to clear his head whenever possible, sometimes bringing [name_f]Luna[/name_f] as it’s the perfect means of getting her to settle and sleep if she’s keeping her grandparents up.
