He is part of a comedy podcast with his friend and friend’s girlfriend and his family is okay with that but [name_u]Mo[/name_u] isn’t allowed to listen to it because it is PG-13. However he also helps [name_u]Mo[/name_u] by watching him when the girls are at school and parents are at work and allowing him to prank him as well.

The siblings don’t always have the best relationship thanks to the turmoil unleashed upon the family when [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] learned he was adopted following his mother vanishing after asking her brother and sister-in-law to watch her son one afternoon - with the circumstances of the adoption leading to the then-fifteen year old going completely off the rails as betrayal and an identity crisis overwhelmed him. After spending time in juvi for shoplifting and attempting to steal a car, [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] managed to clean himself up, but the stress placed on his parents caused [name_f]Leila[/name_f] to feel a degree of anger towards him as it hurt her greatly seeing how much her brother’s downward spiral tormented them. They can argue from time-to-time in a pretty explosive manner, but due to [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] maturing considerably and accepting the responsibility of his behaviour, this allows him to handle things better and he understands where Leila’s frustrations come from.
He and Luna’s mom no longer together due to her not wanting to raise a baby at just twenty years old - something [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] couldn’t quite overlook thanks to his mother walking away from him, and he still doesn’t actually know what became of her following this. Regardless he’s made it clear if his ex wants to see [name_f]Luna[/name_f] at any point she’s welcome to and is focused on being the best dad possible to his little girl while working in a garage and completing a degree in mechanical engineering; being very clever in spite of many writing him off. [name_u]Shadow[/name_u] still has a somewhat intimidating reputation where other’s are concerned but tries to downplay this, wanting to make it clear he’s moved on from being the angry teenager some people remember clearly. Still he knows this won’t immediately come and often goes walking or driving to clear his head whenever possible, sometimes bringing [name_f]Luna[/name_f] as it’s the perfect means of getting her to settle and sleep if she’s keeping her grandparents up.

[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] [name_m]Benton[/name_m] (18) is Sabrina’s eldest brother and a cousin of [name_u]Nick[/name_u], who’s actually planning on moving to [name_u]England[/name_u] himself soon so he can attend Goldsmith’s University. Being the firstborn, [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] often finds himself feeling a need to uphold responsibility and maturity around his siblings, however this isn’t always easy given his dedication to music and the assumptions regarding the lifestyle of performers. Currently belonging to a band known as Third Strike - who are known for their unique musical blending of punk rock and jazz - [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] plays bass guitar and trumpet, having been introduced to the latter instrument (the first ever he picked up), by his father, who wanted his children to have a large array of potential hobbies to pursue.

Lesley Maria Ward (15) is the next door neighbor of the Bentons. She is smart, generous, shy, and compassionate. She lives in the neighborhood with her mother and her two sisters, who are 19 and 13. Her dad left when she was 5. She is in 10th grade, and attends the same high school as Flynn Benton (18), who is graduating soon, and Austin Benton (15).
She has only a few friends, so she spends her free time doing crossword puzzles and playing lacrosse. She has also recently taken an interest in journaling her day to day experiences in her diary, so that she can remember her teenage when she is older.

She has lived a much healthier life and hasn’t had any complications since, but fears she may pass it down to her unborn baby. Her foetus’s heart appears fine on ultrasounds and has a 90% chance of not having the defect, but [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is still scared about the possible 10%. [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] have helped her through her worries, much like [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]'s other co-workers at the boutique.

Etta Valerie Corazon Piers is now three years old, and her mama Vivienne couldn’t be happier. Etta’s heart did have a minor defect, but she pushed through every time things got tough, just like her name suggests: Valerie means brave/strong and Corazon means heart in Spanish. At her birthday party, Etta shows all of the guests her homemade fairy houses around the yard and tells vibrant, compelling stories about each of them. She loves meeting new people, singing at the top of her lungs, and cooking/baking.
