[name_u]An[/name_u] international student, Tyler’s decision to study away from the small town in [name_u]Texas[/name_u] where he grew up surprised no-one, as his flightiness was second in infamy only to his habitual cheating - a pattern that ended all of his relationships, apart from those where his partner ended things before the betrayal occurred. Affairs were normalised in Tyler’s home as his father engaged in a long-term one with a work colleague that produced his younger half-sisters, one of whom is only two months older than Tyler’s own full-blood brother. He knew his parents only stayed together for financial security but the shame his mom suffered was never picked up on by him, which is somewhat ironic as she and his brother are the only people [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] expresses sincere affection for - with his dad thinking [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] never developed enough interest in the family business (a sporting goods store), putting them at odds in spite of how much he impacted on his eldest child.
The relationship with [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] began as they’re both studying psychology and Tyler’s incredible charisma made him very popular on the course, helped by the fact his past was unknown by his peers. Gunnar’s devotion and affection seemed to be everything [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] ever wanted initially, longing for companionship, but inevitably he grew bored and began to lean back into his old ways. Some would argue the lack of stability [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] influenced himself - and how his father’s affair was characterised by excitement, fun and escapism - causes him to never appreciate sincerely loyal and loving partners who offer him stability, as he’s always looking for the next best thing. While he’s a tremendously fun and surprisingly attentive friend, his loyalty to [name_u]Chai[/name_u] rang more genuinely as he never saw her through the disposable lens of his romantic partners, and the fact she didn’t just shrug off his cheating upset [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] more than his cruel actions towards [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] as he wanted to maintain his relationship with her more.
Thanks to how the cheating recently became known on campus - after the guy [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] had been hooking up with drunkenly confessed his indiscretions on a night out with numerous friends - he’s experienced a dramatic fall from grace: his greatest fear upon deciding to attend the University of [name_f]Iceland[/name_f]. This may be what spares [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] from more mistreatment and pain though, as Tyler’s planning on moving home once he graduates now people see him for the selfish, dishonest and remorseless person he’s grown up to be, with no plans on retaining contact. At this point in time [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] has no intention on changing - he merely wanted to hide from his past - but maybe facing his mom (after insisting he was completely in love and determined to stay in [name_f]Iceland[/name_f] with Gunnar…before he cheated) and explaining himself could finally bring about some changes.

Titania “ Tina ” Amber Newliss (22) is a fellow psychology student and good friends with Chai, Tyler, and Gunnar; although she is not their roommate. She was an American exchange scholarship student at 15, coming from the same programme partnered with Silja’s school at the time. Tina is Aura’s younger sister and the two of them talk a lot and secretly the reason Tina wanted to go to Iceland was to escape her grandfather. However she’s grown to like the culture and the people and agrees with Gunnar that it was better that student loan debt in the U.S., so she stayed in Iceland for university. That doesn’t mean Tina is forgetting her U.S. history, and has called the cheating scandal Tynnargate after Tyler and Gunnar‘s couple name and Watergate. Tina is a naturally close individual so she doesn’t know what to directly say about the cheating scandal and none of them know she coined the Tynnargate term even though they know she says it. As a teen, Tina used to date a guy who was also in the exchange programme, but left him when she found out he had a girlfriend back home. She is currently single and has come out as bisexual. She and Tyler’s half-sister have contacted before but they had a rocky relationship, sometimes getting along and sometimes not, until deciding it would be better to stay out of each other’s ways. She and Chai are good friends and she knows Chai means well when she’s afraid to discuss the cheating scandal, seeing that she’s close with all of them and hates to see best friends fight. Still, she finds it unfair to Gunnar and feels he doesn’t get enough credit for what he does, especially with his plant caretaking, which she helps him with. She doesn’t want Tyler’s mother to feel any worse about him cheating on Gunnar so she doesn’t try to contact her in any way.

[name_f]Liliwen[/name_f] ’ [name_f]Leila[/name_f] ’ [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] Hartgrove (21) is Tina’s acquaintance and Tyler’s paternal half-sister - a fact that’s common knowledge in the community of Pinewest, [name_u]Texas[/name_u], even if it’s mostly regulated to gossip. In spite of her father having been identified when she was only 2, [name_f]Leila[/name_f] and her younger sister have always used their mothers’ surname, feeling much closer to her in spite of not always understanding her infatuation with the semi-infamous [name_m]Steven[/name_m] Macinday. Leila’s never had anything you could call a relationship with him: a combination of personal choice and the fact after her little sister was born, their mom finally ended things with him, realising he’d never leave his long-suffering wife, which prompted [name_m]Steven[/name_m] to rescind on his promise of publically claiming the girls’ as his own.
To avoid the humiliation and awkwardness of attending school in the year group below her older half-brother, [name_f]Leila[/name_f] studied at the next town over and deliberately kept away from [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], who she feared would confront her based on his confidence. Due to her insecurities she can seem a little cold and standoffish, taking a long time to warm up to people; which is why [name_f]Tina[/name_f] Newliss struggled with her during their time as friends’, as [name_f]Leila[/name_f] never managed to really open up and display her empathy, loyalty and understanding nature - becoming defensive if [name_f]Tina[/name_f] tried to bond by asking more personal questions.
They met attending a popular summer camp for would-be cheerleaders, something [name_f]Leila[/name_f] pursued and succeeded at in high school, however right now she’s actually interning at a fashion magazine - assisting with hair and makeup as well as editing photographs. She opted against university thanks to the anxiety she faces when going into a new academic environment - partially because of her background and the way people respond to how she feels about her mom, often expecting [name_f]Leila[/name_f] to cut her off because of her long-standing affair. Through the small town grapevine [name_f]Leila[/name_f] has become aware that [name_f]Tina[/name_f] knows Tyler’s current unfortunate boyfriend and truthfully felt a little betrayed about [name_f]Tina[/name_f] befriending the half-brother she’s gone out of her way to avoid.

[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] Petersson is a student also studying psychology with [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m]. He met [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] in one of his classes and was determined to catch the attention of the ‘hot American boy.’ He became infatuated with [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] for a short period of time and finally gathered the courage to go up to him. Much to his surprise, [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] responded to him and they formed a strong emotional connection. He was never notified of Gunnar’s existence because nobody felt the need to explain it to him and they never ended up meeting, despite both being close to [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] soon got over his obsession and was perfectly content to be a friend to [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], as there were many more ‘hot Americans’ available. He even developed a crush on [name_f]Leila[/name_f] for a short period of time but ended up trying to forget it. When [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] cheated on [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] with [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], they were both drunk after a college party. After this incident, [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] became much closer and ended up dating…while [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] was dating [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m]. Sometimes [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] would find wilted bouquets of wildflowers on Tyler’s nightstand but thought nothing of it- until he learned of Gunnar’s existence. He soon wrote to [name_f]Leila[/name_f] about [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] and she replied that he was Tyler’s boyfriend- [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] was shocked, as [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] didn’t seem like the cheating type. Then she explained the abuse between her parents and the effects which were still in action. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] felt awful for being a cheater, and soon broke off the relationship as [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] was involved with someone else, but [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] quickly moved onto the next side-boy to cheat with. [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] has tried to move on but it’s been hard for him.

Elvar Andri Petersson (23) is Magnus’s older brother. He’s warned Magnus to stay away but relented since it was Magnus’s choice and also because he was unaware of Gunnar, although he had heard the term Tynnargate floating around their school before knowing what it meant. He too has written to Leila and they’re friendly acquaintances, the distance being a big reason why they’re not closer. Elvar has already graduated and feels he doesn’t need to go back to drama, so he stays out. He tends to not trust anyone and considers Tyler untrustworthy, having a gut instinct of who is and isn’t trustworthy before knowing them. He is a teacher’s aide for a kindergarten class, but for a different kindergarten teacher than Katrin, however they work at the same school and are close friends for this. He’s glad Katrin is in a solid relationship with Leo and wishes Magnus could find a better partner but Magnus reminds him that Elvar isn’t in any relationship at all. Elvar is trying to make things better for them as brothers and knows people who would be better matches for Magnus, but at the same time, thinks Magnus needs time being single for a while.

[name_f]Margret[/name_f] [name_f]Ingibjörg[/name_f] Jonsdóttir is another aide in [name_m]Elvar[/name_m] Petersson’s class of kindergarteners. She helps out with a special needs student in the class. Her and [name_m]Elvar[/name_m] are very close friends but she isn’t interested in him romantically, though many people will assume that. She knows about the Tynnargate situation (authors note: Tynnargate is hilarious I almost crapped myself laughing about it), but only minor details from [name_m]Elvar[/name_m], and she doesn’t care too much about college kids’ drama as she has much more problems going on in her own life. Her parents are very toxic and dislike some of her life choices, which led to her hating herself for a very short period of time. She also went to University of [name_f]Iceland[/name_f], but she studied education and not psychology. She wishes [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] the best though she doesn’t know him or much about his situation. She lives in a small apartment with the two people she is dating- they are not dating each other but they’re close friends. [name_f]Margret[/name_f] enjoys going on long hikes with her partners, painting and spending time with the kindergarteners in her school. She’s also good friends with [name_f]Katrin[/name_f] and has met [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. [name_f]Margret[/name_f] and [name_f]Katrin[/name_f] are childhood friends and [name_f]Margret[/name_f] is Theo’s unofficial godmother. [name_f]Margret[/name_f] also enjoys sewing, knitting etc. and made [name_u]Theo[/name_u] a tiny stuffed animal- a big fluffy dog which he adores. [name_m]Sebulon[/name_m] " [name_m]Seb[/name_m] " [name_m]Aatos[/name_m] Rantanen (26) is one of Margaret’s partners but isn’t father to either of her children - a decision they’ve made based on also seeing someone else in line with their polyamorous lifestyle, and want to include her in these decision making processes due to believing all of their relationships should be treated equally, especially major decision making such as starting to have children. Originally from Finland, [name_m]Seb[/name_m] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] met through an online forum where they discussed growing up in unpleasant environments. Seb’s upbringing was dominated by his extremely controlling helicopter parents who expected him and his younger sibling, who’s non-binary, to adhere to their will without questions. This reached a head when his father destroyed an acceptance letter offering a music scholarship [name_m]Seb[/name_m] had applied for as he wanted his son to study business or politics at university, seeing arts as pointless and barely tolerating Seb’s music lessons - which the teenager paid for himself. Thankfully, Seb’s chosen university resent his scholarship offer and he left as quickly as possible, with his sibling moving in with him the second they turned eighteen after a prolonged secret correspondence between the two siblings.
The friendship with Margaret’s other partner means a great deal to [name_m]Seb[/name_m] and he usually discusses his career with them extensively. Right now [name_m]Seb[/name_m] does composition for indie films and teaches the harp, pinao and violin as well, having never lost his passion. He also performs in a symphonic metal orchestra established by one of his uni friends - his best friend as he openly calls him, although Seb’s quick to point out the other holder of this title is his co-parent - and has a very composed, understanding and patient attitude, which he admits is cultivated to stop ever being like his own parents. Still, he misses Finland greatly and has visited several times with his younger sibling, as well as [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], her other partner and their children (but this has been on hold since her pregnancy). [name_m]Seb[/name_m] met his girlfriend while holidaying with his sibling after attending a polyamorist get-together in his home city of Joensuu; but immediately let [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] know after spending a night getting to know his other girlfriend, as he didn’t want to pursue something without clarifying things with his existing partner. As Seb’s girlfriend is still working in Finland their relationship is long-distance based for the most part but he’d like her to become a more permanent part of their family due to how equality means so much to him.

[name_m]Emil[/name_m] [name_m]Mikael[/name_m] [name_m]Fredrikson[/name_m] is the third partner in the relationship with [name_f]Margret[/name_f] and [name_m]Seb[/name_m]. He is also the father to Margret’s two children- he absolutely adores both of them even the unborn one. He is good friends with [name_m]Seb[/name_m] and enjoys his company, the two of them like to do all kinds of things together. He’s also good friends with Seb’s Finnish girlfriend who he has only met a couple times. He is working as a student because like [name_m]Seb[/name_m], [name_u]Justice[/name_u] is important to him- he wants to become a lawyer. It’s a daunting task but [name_m]Emil[/name_m] is up for it. However he’s also doing some side hustle work as a grocery store clerk to help [name_f]Margret[/name_f] with paying bills. He came from a very non toxic family and is helping both [name_m]Seb[/name_m] and [name_f]Margret[/name_f] adjust to being happy.

Harpa Ylfa Freyr (28) is Emil’s current co-worker although she motivates him to be a lawyer. Harpa is also good friends with Birkir and the rest of the Árnadóttir family. She is his aforementioned friend whose twin brother cut her out of his life when he found out she was lesbian. Harpa has no intent to reconnect with him, saying “He and I don’t need each other. We have separate lives. I didn’t want him to do this but he chose to be a bigot and I chose not to associate with bigots.” Harpa doesn’t bother to give this feud any funny weird “-gate” names (Author’s note: Thanks @wandering_willow lol) and only calls it “A good riddance” to spare her having to keep explaining. Now with Birkir, Emil, Seb, and Margret as friends, Harpa is in a better place in her life. She has a knitted hat made by Margret that she absolutely adores. She admits she finds Seb’s Finnish girlfriend attractive — she’s never met her and is not crushing on her or trying to break her and Seb up — but she does love her confidence and sweetness and hopes to find a girlfriend like her someday. She lives up to her name as she and Seb joke about, she loves playing the harp and was thankful Seb taught her. She also gets along with Seb’s sister and is glad they are such great siblings to one another.

[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] [name_f]Sigridur[/name_f] Kristjansdottir (16) is a girl who is coworkers with [name_f]Harpa[/name_f] and [name_m]Emil[/name_m] at the grocery shoppe and is also the aforementioned stepsister of [name_u]Leo[/name_u]. Like [name_u]Leo[/name_u], she’s British-Icelandic and grew up between the two countries before her mother and Leo’s father decided to settle down in [name_f]Iceland[/name_f]. [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] has a huge crush on [name_f]Harpa[/name_f] and is going through a bit of an obsession. Obviously [name_f]Harpa[/name_f] is too old for her and would never reciprocate her feelings but she’s still hopeful. Like [name_f]Silja[/name_f], she always shows her friends pictures of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and buys him cute little gifts whenever she comes over to babysit. She has apologized to [name_u]Leo[/name_u] numerous times even if he’s said he forgives her she still feels terrible for being toxic back then- luckily [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] is more mature now. [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] makes it painfully clear how obsessed she is with [name_f]Harpa[/name_f], though [name_f]Harpa[/name_f] is obviously not interested in dating a minor. [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], as she is young, is still questioning herself and has no label yet as she doesn’t quite know what she likes, but her mother is very supportive and will accept her however she is. [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and [name_u]Leo[/name_u] have become rather close in the past few years and have tried to repair their rocky relationship.

[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_u]Addison[/name_u] McFarland (16) is a classmate of [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and a friend of a friend. They’ve recently started a budding friendship due to working on a group project. Though she likes [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and thinks she’s fun to hang out with, [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] thinks Aspen’s a little too obsessed with [name_f]Harpa[/name_f] and reminds her often that “adults don’t date minors”. She’s also seen photos of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and thinks he’s a very cute baby. A native of [name_u]Glasgow[/name_u], Sunny’s family moved from [name_u]Scotland[/name_u], then [name_u]England[/name_u], then [name_f]Iceland[/name_f] due to business endeavours. Whilst she’s over the homesickness, she feels as if she’s never really gotten a chance to settle down and find herself and make close connections. Thankfully, she’s found her group of people at her school: [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] has met a few like her, kids who bounced from country to country due to their parents’ jobs. They call themselves the [name_u]Dandelion[/name_u] Seeds— a reference to how they feel caught in the wind with nowhere to belong to.
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is close to her mother and father, but because of work she doesn’t get to see her father often. She gets lonely easily, spending a lot of time at one of her friends’ houses— and tries not to get even lonely at the sight of a tight-knit family.

Xiaoyan " [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] " Wu (16) is a fellow [name_u]Dandelion[/name_u] Seed and close friend of [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]. [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] gained her nickname while living in [name_m]Amsterdam[/name_m] due to how she’s got a vivid imagination and sometimes seems lost in her own world while scribbling down story ideas. Becoming an author is her dream, which she’s vocal about, and thankfully her mothers’ both support this path. She and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] immediately formed an in-joke about their names, with one of their friends calling them [name_f]Gen[/name_f] Z Weather Girls. Cloud’s family have also been based in the UK and [name_u]Germany[/name_u] before coming to [name_f]Iceland[/name_f], due to her mum being offered a director position in a recycling company, after climbing the ranks by moving around so much. They had their children through surrogacy and [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] admits her paternity isn’t an issue where she’s concerned as she’s always been happy with her parents and doesn’t want to unleash chaos tracking down a man who might not want anything to do with her. Moving frequently and losing friends has been enough of a disappointment for her, so anything familial would be devastating and she’d rather play it safe - or ‘boring’ as she jokingly calls it.
Unlike [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] has three younger siblings - triplets - who are eight years her junior. She loves her whole family dearly but tends to hide in her room once chaos erupts, as the triplets frequently bicker now they’re each developing their own identities, and she hates being asked to pick sides. This is why she can often be found at her friend’s house as another means of fleeing the madness, although it upsets her knowing how lonely [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] can find herself. She’s not the most natural at providing comfort - considering herself painfully awkward - but always tries her best and offers a listening ear as the bare minimum to those she cares about. [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] doesn’t know if she’ll stay in [name_f]Iceland[/name_f] permanently as she does want to return to [name_u]Hong[/name_u] Kong for university - as she’s got extended family there she misses - but at the same time if her friends are remaining, she might change her plans. Her organisation skills are self-professed as terrible and she prefers things being arranged in her own chaotic manner, especially her clothes and jewelry, which are hidden in a whole array of places in her room: many of which are collaged by stickers she loves collecting.

Bren " Breeze " Ada Moritz (16) is another Dandelion Seeds member and babysits Cloud’s triplet siblings. Breeze came out as transgender last year, to her family’s support. Her friend group supports her too which is a great thing for her. The hardest part of moving from country to country is having to repeat the coming out process. People who know her well will know she is trans but every time she goes to a new community, they don’t know and she’s re-closested. She knows Harpa is never going to have a relationship with Aspen but Breeze has an older sister Harpa’s age whom she thinks is “perfect for Harpa”. Her deadname was Brandt but she now uses the name Bren as it’s feminine but not super girly as she fears having a name that sounds “overcompensating” according to people at her former school she didn’t care for. The " Breeze " nickname was one given by Sunny and Cloud and she’s grown to love the nickname even if she’s not making it her legal first name in adulthood. She considers herself a Gen Z Weather Girl as well. Breeze originated from Austria and is considering either moving back or staying in Iceland. She is not currently looking for new places due to the fact that she wants a “permanent community” and will likely miss her friend group if they go away again.

Her mother is very sad and visits [name_u]Germany[/name_u] every weekend just to see her ailing mother and support her in tough times. For now, [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] is trying to push through the pain and ignore her feelings about this situation. Other than growing flowers, she enjoys talking with her friends and going out into nature- stargazing, cycling, beach days, mountain hikes. She appreciates Iceland’s diverse landscape and terrain as she is very much “an outdoor person.” She is also involved with the [name_u]Dandelion[/name_u] Seeds and is good friends with each member. She has many friends who are adults, too, but she mainly hangs out with the [name_u]Dandelion[/name_u] Seeds as she sees them like a bunch of little sisters. [name_u]An[/name_u] Icelandic native who spent most of their life in the U.S, [name_f]Canada[/name_f], and even [name_u]France[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u] has a disconnect with their heritage and feels the most out of place in their homeland. Oddly enough, even though they’re from [name_f]Iceland[/name_f], they find comfort in their friend group— [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] and [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] were friendly enough to allow [name_u]Willow[/name_u] to let their guard down. [name_u]Willow[/name_u] came out as nonbinary when they were 14, making their first name their second middle name. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though they considered Eskja to be a deadname, they still thought it to be a part of them. Willow’s parents were very supportive of them and adjusted accordingly.
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] has basically moved in [name_u]Willow[/name_u] at this point, and Willow’s parents have been concerned, even asking [name_u]Willow[/name_u] if Sunny’s home life was okay. [name_u]Willow[/name_u] has been asking [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] if anything was wrong, but she’s pretending nothing was wrong. Their two younger brothers, who are 3 and 4 years old, have no problem with this though, as [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is amazing with children and they love her more than their babysitter. [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] insists doing this for free, much to the chagrin of Willow’s parents.
[name_u]Willow[/name_u] is interested in makeup and wishes to be a makeup artist when they grow older. They plan on moving back to [name_u]California[/name_u] for college, but they haven’t told anyone about their plans yet.

Ling Wu is the 8-year-old sister of [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] Wu. She has two triplet siblings via surrogacy- she’s half siblings with [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] biologically but that doesn’t affect how [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] sees her at all, or how she sees [name_u]Cloud[/name_u]. [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] is Ling’s self-proclaimed “favorite sibling.”
Ling is very close with [name_u]Willow[/name_u] as well and admired their makeup tactics, often attempting unsuccessfully to do her makeup “like [name_u]Willow[/name_u] does.” Ling always says she wants to become a makeup artist when she grows up.
Ling often gets into fights with her two triplet siblings and isn’t too nice to them- her bold personality can be seen as overbearing under certain circumstances. Ling is viewed as mean when she is often just setting boundaries in her own cryptic sort of way . Her two moms are very kind to her and try to keep everything under control, but sometimes her fiery personality can be too hot to handle!! (Hah, see what I did there? Smooth.)
Apart from fighting her siblings, Ling enjoys running around, playing at the park and catching butterflies- she loves butterflies. She goes to [name_f]Katrin[/name_f] and Margret’s school, and definitely enjoys learning- though she has a tough time with social stuff. But her siblings are helping her get better at that- and as mean as they can be and she can be, deep down they are triplets and they love each other. (NOTE: they’re all fraternal so they look different.)

Yìchén " [name_m]Chen[/name_m] " Wu (8) is Ling’s triplet brother and typically the least combative, which ironically makes him Cloud’s favourite - not that Ling is aware of this as World War 3 would kick off if she knew. The main way [name_m]Chen[/name_m] avoids arguing with his sister - whose abrasive personality can even rub him, the laidback triplet, the wrong way - is spending as much time with his best friend as possible. If he’s around, Ling tends to leave him be, similar to how [name_m]Chen[/name_m] treats Cloud’s friends as teenagers scare him terribly in their complex mannerisms and allusions to the future. He really doesn’t want to think about gossip or dating, as Cloud’s made it sound hazardous enough, and is quite happy focusing on playing Super Smash Bros or playing superhero games with his small group of friends. While he’s much more pacifistic and easygoing, [name_m]Chen[/name_m] cannot stand being told what to do by Ling and this is what causes them to argue, as he’s fiercely protective of his autonomy.
His demeanour is also the most openly sensitive, something his mother’s pick up on and actually encourage, as they don’t want [name_m]Chen[/name_m] feeling he can’t be openly empathic or understanding of others due to societal assumptions about how boys should behave. A lot of Chen’s friends tend to confide in him first and he acts as this to his triplet siblings if they need him in this regard too, although unlike [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] he tends to side against Ling if he’s forced between them, as he and his other sibling do have a more harmonious dynamic for the most part. Still, he loves her dearly and doesn’t like seeing her feel socially isolated at school, but knows approaching this will probably upset Ling and prompt another fight so he keeps this to himself. [name_m]Chen[/name_m] is the most tech invested of all four siblings and thinks he’d like to work in the gaming industry, although he’s not sure where or how exactly yet. Thankfully his mum, who works from home as a counsellor, gives him lots of encouragement and tells [name_m]Chen[/name_m] frequently that he doesn’t have to rush himself in making big decisions.
What [name_m]Chen[/name_m] also secretly hopes for is that his mum’s are going to allow them to get a family cat soon - something [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] is thoroughly on board with as she adores felines of any sort - but he knows the catch is less fighting between the triplets to make sure any pets aren’t stressed out by the noise, and committing to this is easier said than done…

[name_u]Jin[/name_u] “Jay” Wu is the triplet sibling of Ling and [name_m]Chen[/name_m] Wu. He’s the “intellectual” of the three and like [name_m]Chen[/name_m] is generally laid back and ‘cool.’ Like his brother, his relationships with his siblings are generally harmonious and he doesn’t get into fights.
[name_u]Jay[/name_u] is very close to both of his mothers but is curious as to who his biological father really is- despite this innate curiosity he sees [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] as a full sister and absolutely loves her, looking up to her and seeing her as a role model. He loves all of her friends, the [name_u]Dandelion[/name_u] Seeds, and looks up to them as well. He enjoys [name_f]Breeze[/name_f] coming over to babysit the three of them and he often finds himself mesmerized by Willow’s intricate makeup.
[name_u]Jay[/name_u] hopes that [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] stays in [name_f]Iceland[/name_f] for college as he is very close to all his siblings and would miss any one of them, even Ling- though he would never admit it to her.

Hanfei " [name_u]Fei[/name_u] " Wu (18) is a maternal cousin of [name_u]Cloud[/name_u], [name_m]Chen[/name_m], [name_u]Jay[/name_u], and Ling. Located in the east coast of the United States, [name_u]Fei[/name_u] is somewhat close to her [name_u]Cloud[/name_u], insisting that she visit like they did when they were younger. She doesn’t know the full story of Cloud’s displacement across the years, but [name_u]Fei[/name_u] could piece together that her cousin hasn’t had the easiest time growing up. Her insistence that her cousin live in the states is so that [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] could feel some sort of stability with her— something she knows that [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] lacks.
Unlike [name_u]Cloud[/name_u], [name_u]Fei[/name_u] has lived her entire life in [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]York[/name_u] City and plans on staying. Her solid group of six friends (including herself) have been through everything since they met in the fifth grade, and [name_u]Fei[/name_u] hasn’t wanted anything more. Despite the drama that comes with teenagers, the group has stayed strong to this day. As the group is preparing to go to college, they’ve already chosen apartments to live near each other. [name_u]Fei[/name_u] is planning on living with a boy and a girl she has a crush on.
