He sincerely loves his wife and is fully involved in the life of his children, knowing everything about their hobbies and experiences. [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] also tries not to forget about his parental family. In addition, he is very attached to his hometown and was glad to return there, after being a student and working in another state. [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] likes to play sports - he sees in it an outlet from the hard everyday life. He attends the gym and also plays American soccer, and many of the team are familiar to him from his high school years. He is the eldest of two children, unlike [name_u]Jude[/name_u], an his stepsibling was born when [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] was already a teenager. That made him responsible and able to take care of the little ones. Nevertheless, it made [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] a little withdrawn and he needs more time to talk openly about his feelings. At the same time, he is an honest, straightforward, kind person with a good sense of humor.
[name_f]Anouk[/name_f] [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] Simms (5) is [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and Marlon’s daughter, their youngest child who’s set her sights on becoming a performer of some kind. She’s an energetic yet shy child, never being that confident around new people and typically relying on her passions of gymnastics and dance to keep her from having to interact with new people. Her lack of social confidence does make [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] question her plans sometimes - especially compared to her family members who are naturally gregarious - but her parents and brother always encouraged her; even more so after she won a local gymnastics competition for her floor routine (that she spent hours agonising over). In spite of being quiet, [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] has a clear best friend in a girl who lives on the same street and they’re always playing imaginary games together or sharing little secrets they’ve dreamed up together.
Aside from her dance and acrobatics she loves reading, as it works with her reserved nature and she’s content in her own company. Usually Crumpet comes and finds her, being a very useful hot water bottle once he’s snuggled up beside her; knowing she’s the family member who’ll always let him laze about. While not as big on cycling as her parents, she loves outdoor swimming and climbing trees when they go on their holidays outdoors - although never tell a ghost story when she’s present or else she’ll not be able to sleep and someone has to stay up to assure her she’s safe. Unusually, green is her favourite colour: mostly lighter shades, as she loves how they remind her of nature.
[name_m]Ozias[/name_m] ‘Ozzy’ [name_m]Castor[/name_m] Simms (7) is [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and Marlon’s son, who has a bit of a wild streak about him - something that naturally seems at odds with how quiet and book obsessed he usually is. [name_m]Ozzy[/name_m] has a wild imagination and enjoys playing elaborate games with his friends which feature complex rules, systems and characters, the majority of which are invented by him. He loves rock climbing - having been introduced by his dad - and skateboarding, as well as going on bike rides about the neighborhood with his small, tight knit group of friends (not so much with his parents anymore as independence is something he’s craving).
The main person who experiences the brunt of Ozzy’s disruptive side is he and Anouk’s main babysitter, who lives two houses down from the Simms-Golden family, and thankfully never takes an issue with his constant questions or attempts at staying up late (which [name_u]Jude[/name_u] used to be mortified about). He is actually fond of her and never mean in how he messes about, having even allowed her to read some of his top secret stories which only VIPs are given access to. Crumpet is adored by [name_m]Ozzy[/name_m], albeit his energetic side doesn’t always appeal to the laidback dog, and so he’s usually playing with the one belonging to his best friends’ family instead. In spite of his adventurous side, he’s fairly quiet at school and around strangers, only coming out of shell once he’s comfortable.

Brielle Gracelynn Golden (16) is Jude’s niece and Anouk and Ozzy’s cousin. She is a budding YouTube Star, and she loves singing, dancing, and theater. She also loves animals, especially dogs.
Koko Akiko Zen (26) is Brielle’s next-door neighbour and works behind the scenes for the theatre Brielle loves to go to. She is an avid snowboarder and also loves dogs. She is an Aries and born on 26 March. She is currently single and lives with just her dog, Kimi.
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] Eijirou [name_u]Zen[/name_u] (22) is Koko’s brother, who’s very recently moved in with his sister and [name_u]Kimi[/name_u] following his graduation from university - gaining a degree in visual communication. In spite of this success, Tate’s struggled to get a job in his field of studies and right now is working in electronic repairs and retail so he can contribute towards rent while ensuring his sister isn’t stressing herself out too much. He knows there’s been a lot of changes to Koko’s life thanks to his arrival and feels guilt over the changes she’s made to accommodate him, having come to live with her thanks to having a huge argument with their parents over his decisions about what to major in at college, as well as his party based lifestyle (which only increased once he was given independence).
Now staying with his sister, [name_u]Tate[/name_u] has strictly adhered to not throwing get together’s at hers though, and [name_f]Koko[/name_f] is the one person he’s always known he can confide in. Right now he’s in a long distance relationship with someone he met at uni and sometimes wonders if [name_f]Koko[/name_f] wants someone in her life, but feels awkward just asking in case it seems intrusive or like he’s undermining her independence. Aside from anything based in technology, [name_u]Tate[/name_u] enjoys mixing music and swimming in his free time - having absolutely none of his sister’s snowboarding abilities, although he was a talented figure skater in his youth. Often he’ll take [name_u]Kimi[/name_u] for walks, absolutely doting upon her and being a proud ‘dog uncle’ as [name_f]Koko[/name_f] loves to call him.

P.P.S. I’m quite sad that I missed my made-up character Koko’s random birthday even though barely any of my characters have birthdays. I aged her up one year to make up for my failure. In fact, when I was making Zane for this other game, I was scrolling up at past posts and noticed Jazmin’s birthday was 4 April and I JUST MISSED IT so I referenced that in Zane’s bio lol.
Kanako Misaki Momo (22) is Tate’s long-distance girlfriend. Growing up, she was a bit of a disliked individual due to her constant feuding with another girl at her school. She and the other girl were apparently feuding over a boy which people thought they both liked but truthfully the other girl was a flirty cheater and Kanako was trying to help the boy. A lot of people were mean to Kanako because the other girl was popular but eventually she was able to prove it. She and said boy were never in love and she didn’t like boys who wouldn’t listen to her. A lot of people soon respected Kanako afterward and some of the boys who insulted her had then asked to date her. She declined because they were rude to her before and wanted someone with less drama. She waited a bit before dating Tate and is now happily dating him. She knows his life is difficult and he is not perfect, along with the hardships of a long-distance relationship, but he listened to her and respected her from the beginning and was just her type. Kanako has other siblings who are in relationships as well and has happily married parents.
Hayami Nariko [name_f]Momo[/name_f] (21) is Kanako’s sibling closest in age, only being 13 months younger than her. In spite of their close age, Hayami actually attended a different school to [name_f]Kanako[/name_f], thanks to their family moving house in the year she was transitioning to high school. Arguably this was a good thing as until she was about 17, Hayami was painfully shy and avoided all forms of conflict like the plague, being terrified at the idea of someone like her sister’s rival continuously coming after her. Hayami’s introverted nature is something she attributes to being the youngest, having always had an older sibling to defend her or listen to her worries - but going to a different school changed this, and she now actually thinks it was for the better.
Although by no means a social butterfly, Hayami started coming out of her shell after fully involving herself in her greatest passion: illustration. She’s currently majoring in it at university - with hopes on working in the comic book industry, as she’s always been a nerd (covertly as her older brother loves to tease) - and this is where she met her girlfriend, the two having actually been housemates in their first year, sharing a dorm. Hayami was worried about coming out as pansexual to her family - as at the time, her and Kanako’s other older sibling hadn’t come out as gender fluid - but upon expressing this, she was flooded with love, acceptance and support from her parents (the people she’d admittedly been most concerned about). Hayami and her girlfriend don’t live together currently as they don’t want to rush things, but do frequently visit each other’s apartments and hang out with their group of friends.

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_u]Munro[/name_u] (21) was Hayami’s schoolmate back in high school. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] was almost as shy as Hayami was- maybe even shyer. She didn’t have many friends due to being away at dance conventions a lot of the time and spent most of her lunches in the performance space or the library.
While Hayami’s passion is illustrations and art, [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] expresses herself in another way- ballet. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] has been doing ballet since she could walk. She got her dancing feet from her mother, who used to be a ballerina until she got injured and wasn’t well enough to dance again. Her younger sister was also put in ballet lessons. She was even better than [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is, but doesn’t dance anymore due to struggling with her body image. The ballet industry thrives on structure, comparison and perfectionism, with a focus on the ideal, thin body type. This eventually became to much for Evelyn’s sister. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] suspects that her sister quitting ballet was also to do with their mother dying from cancer. While her sister stopped doing ballet, [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] felt her passion for dance to be even stronger since her mother died.
Now, [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is taking a ballet program at university. She has always been incredibly skilled at ballet, which is a great thing, but not when it comes to making friends. When she was in high school and danced at a studio called Eclipse, she made many enemies due to the fact she was the most talented dancer. This started when she won the part of [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] in Eclipse’s [name_u]Swan[/name_u] [name_u]Lake[/name_u] production and the other dancers claimed that she had unjustly won the part and was using the [name_u]Munro[/name_u] name to get herself into the best roles.

Madeleine Ruby Munro (19) is the shy, insecure little sister of the aforementioned Evelyn Josie Munro, who’s a very successful ballet dancer. Madeleine is also a talented dancer, but as stated above she dropped out due to pressure- the pressure to lose weight, the pressure to constantly be the best, and the pressure to live up to her mom’s name. When her mom died of cancer, Maddie was shattered- not only did the sudden, unexpected death leave her depressed, it left her without mentorship in such an already tough time for her. Madeleine was extremely depressed when her mother died which led to a downward spiral of mental illness- Maddie took the death a lot worse than Evelyn, who was of course also sad but knew to carry on. Madeleine felt an intense pressure to live up to her mother’s name- her mother was naturally thin and lean, but Madeleine has a curvier body type which she learned to hate over the years- all this hate towards herself slowly built up and consumed her life, leaving her with a rather severe case of @n0r3x1a and bul1m1@- Evelyn tried to tell her sister how much she loved her but Madeleine wouldn’t let her in.
The only thing that has stopped Madeleine from relapsing lately two things- is her Stanford enrollment- that’s right, Maddie goes to Stanford Academy for college. She’s studying psychology and opting to become a school counselor for older kids, specifically teen girls- she knows how terrible it is to feel lonely at that age and hopes nobody has to ever go through such a terrible situation again- and her boyfriend, who she met in psychology school. She found him to be charming and developed a crush on him- she was stunned when he asked her out but, of course, accepted- she refers to him as her human ray of sunshine, who “saved her.” Evelyn is super happy for the two of them and has created the cheesiest ship named for the two, which causes Maddie to roll her eyes (but she secretly loves it). Right now, Maddie is planning on enrolling in her school’s ballet program as an extracurricular- but she’s too scared for now, and insecure about her body. However, her boyfriend and Evelyn are encouraging her to go for it, and Maddie’s feeling pretty confident, so she’s planning on trying out for ballet in 3 days. She’ll definitely make it if she shows up…but will she show up?

[name_u]Connor[/name_u] Finnias [name_m]Irwin[/name_m] (20) is Maddie’s boyfriend and he’s studying to become a child psychologist. He hadn’t thought at first that he’d be good enough to get into the college but his adoptive parents bolstered his confidence immensely and he decided to apply. Now he’s in his junior year and very happy with his choice.
Connor’s mom passed away when he was five and his sister was four. As their father was in prison and they had no other relatives, the two were put into foster care and split up almost immediately which both siblings took hard. Two years later though, a wonderful couple with three year old twin daughters decided they wanted to adopt [name_u]Connor[/name_u]. When asked how he felt about that he said he didn’t want to be adopted unless his sister was too. After a few days of consideration the couple decided they could take in his sister as well.
[name_u]Connor[/name_u] is forever grateful that he and his sister were adopted and he is a great big brother to his adoptive sisters as well. He works part time at his parents cafe and enjoys it a lot. Lately, his biological father has been trying to contact him but he’s not sure if he wants to talk. He’s gotten advice from [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], his sister, and his parents but still hasn’t decided. [name_u]Connor[/name_u] is good friends with Maddie’s sister [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and thinks the cheesy ship name “Madonnor" that she made for them is hilarious.
[name_u]Arya[/name_u] [name_f]Yagmur[/name_f] [name_m]Kaplan[/name_m] [left] and [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_m]Kaplan[/name_m] [right] (both 16) are the adoptive twin sisters of [name_u]Connor[/name_u] [name_m]Irwin[/name_m]- the reason [name_u]Connor[/name_u] and his biological sister haven’t legally taken the [name_m]Kaplan[/name_m] last name is because [name_m]Irwin[/name_m] was their mom’s maiden name and the [name_m]Kaplan[/name_m] parents decided they didn’t want to take away the last part of their mother they had. [name_u]Arya[/name_u] and [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] were conceived after three rounds of unsuccessful IVF- when their parents discovered they were having them, they were ecstatic- however they didn’t get their hopes too high up because they had a tendency to do that before losing their kids again. However, the twins were born both healthy. Their parents love them dearly and buy them all sorts of things. They’ll also take occasional trips to Istanbul- their dad was born in Istanbul, Turkey and both twins love going, they do every summer. [name_u]Arya[/name_u] and [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] are super close, and love each other more than anything along with [name_u]Connor[/name_u] and their other adopted sister.
Despite loving each other more than anything on the face of the earth, [name_u]Arya[/name_u] and [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] have had their rough patches. [name_u]Arya[/name_u] is a great singer and she’s so talented, but people have been bullying her since the second grade. [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] hates when people bully [name_u]Arya[/name_u], and [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] is quite popular which makes the situation even worse, but [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] also has severe crippling anxiety and it’s not that she wouldn’t stand up for [name_u]Arya[/name_u], it’s that she doesn’t have the courage to tell the popular kids to stop messing with [name_u]Arya[/name_u] and treat her like a person. People always trip [name_u]Arya[/name_u] in the hallways, tell her her singing sucks, and one time a girl even threw hot black coffee on her white pleated skirt. There’s only one person who will stand up for [name_u]Arya[/name_u]- a friend of the [name_m]Kaplan[/name_m] family in their grade who tells her that her singing is beautiful. The only problem is, [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] flirted with him despite knowing [name_u]Arya[/name_u] liked him and then started dating him. [name_u]Arya[/name_u] had a meltdown, telling [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] she could’ve gone for any other guy and didn’t talk to her for a week, but [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] and him have broken up and [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] has given [name_u]Arya[/name_u] the green flag. He’s liked her for a couple years but didn’t think she liked him back so when [name_f]Evrim[/name_f] started flirting with him he asked her out. They only dated for a little less than a month, realizing they were much better off as friends. [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] isn’t exactly the most outspoken person and is trying to get up the courage to ask [name_u]Arya[/name_u] out.
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u] has an older brother who is dating the girls’ older sister so the kids of the two families are almost always hanging out. He thinks of the girls’ sister as the sister he never had and [name_u]Connor[/name_u] is practically a second brother. [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] is interested in art and writing. He plans to major in both of them and can’t wait until he finishes school.

For a long time, she wanted to know — but at the same time did not want to know — why her father went to prison as she was only 4 when he was convicted. She had wanted to reconnect with him if and only if his crime wasn’t violent. [name_u]Truth[/name_u] is, her adoptive parents won’t discuss such a serious matter unless asked and [name_f]Sue[/name_f] is too afraid of knowing to ask.
[name_f]Sue[/name_f] and [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] are such good friends and she loves being perceived as a cool sister. She is in university currently studying sociology and is in a relationship with Blaise’s brother whom she’s nothing but happy to be around. He’s also her best friend and she proudly says so. From her brother [name_u]Connor[/name_u], [name_f]Sue[/name_f] has also met [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and has also wanted to try out for ballet despite not knowing much about it for as long as the Munros. She and a few other women trying for ballet are rooting for [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] but they let her have her choice and wish her nothing but the best.

At first he was a bit intimidated about the success of his relationship with [name_f]Sue[/name_f] - the idea of imploding the closeness between the family’s if things failed - but the two are so compatible he now feels somewhat ridiculous for even considering such a thing. Given they call each other best friend, [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] jokes about being a jack of all trades, strengthened by the fact he’s studying mechanical engineering and is also avid about metal work. Deciphering how things form and work in tandem has fascinated [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] since his days of playing with lego blocks, only strengthening over time, and he tends to be the go to for everyone if they need something fixed; not that he complains too often about this defacto role. He is naturally more reserved within the dynamic of when everyone comes together though, admittedly having a quieter nature but this isn’t a product of shyness: [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] just prefers to voice things when he feels like it and confesses to being terrible at small talk. This is jokingly credited to Mr [name_u]Landry[/name_u], a very gruff and blunt man, who unintentionally seems much sterner than he truly is.
While they’re a very close couple, [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] and [name_f]Sue[/name_f] do keep different friend groups, partly because of their personality divergences. He keeps a small yet close circle who spend evenings playing D&D [don’t joke about the game it’s very meaningful to them] or enjoying some so bad it’s good media together, even if [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] cannot understand why they get so much joy from terrible media. [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] did deliberate doing an [name_m]Erasmus[/name_m] year, however he didn’t want to spend so much time away from his loved one’s and instead is planning a trip with [name_f]Sue[/name_f], [name_u]Blaise[/name_u], [name_u]Connor[/name_u] and the twins to go travelling as a group in Europe; specifically going interailing [having gotten full parental permission]. One of Ronan’s close friends is actually studying in Switzerland right now - they grew up there thanks to their dad being a diplomat - and he’s convinced [name_f]Sue[/name_f] to take some time, just the two of them, to stay with this person. It’s not that he doesn’t love his brother of her siblings but he wants some time for just the two of them, where he can take her on some romantic outings and feel fully comfortable expressing just how smitten he continuously finds himself to be with her.
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] Cabot-Locke (17) is the younger sister of Ronan’s close friend who lives in Switzerland. She’s in the same high school as [name_u]Blaise[/name_u], [name_u]Arya[/name_u], and Ervim but is only somewhat acquainted with them as she’s a senior. Her parents divorced five years ago and she sees her dad during school breaks when he has time, which is more than she saw him before the divorce. [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] misses her brother but they talk frequently and her dad calls once in a while which she looks forward to.
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] and her mother have always been two peas in a pod. They both enjoy the outdoors and neither likes to get dressed up. Neither liked the idea of an office job so [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] doesn’t plan on getting one, and her mom doesn’t have one. [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] is the captain of the cheerleading squad and is dating the football quarterback. Yes, she knows it’s disgustingly cliche but she loves him and to be fair, they were dating before gaining their respective positions. [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] is a terrible bookworm and loves all the [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] books. Her mom introduced her to them and they love reading together.
While she isn’t going on the trip with [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] and everyone, she will be spending time with her brother and dad around the same time. She’ll be gone before he and [name_f]Sue[/name_f] get there but hopes the two have a good time. [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] is working part time as a waitress at a restaurant in town. Most everyone is friendly so she enjoys it and has become great friends with a college student who works there.
